Citizen Goes Nuts And Attempts to Ticket Detriot Cop

Lol, I'm shocked this guy didn't get pulled over.

Ronith 10-25-2012 04:46 AM

What a crazy nutcase.

PJ 10-25-2012 05:11 AM

:lawl:

Driver's probably sour from a no-seatbelt ticket he got in the past.

punkwax 10-25-2012 06:19 AM

:derp:

murd0c 10-25-2012 06:51 AM

Good on the cop for not snapping on the guy and arresting him. You know the citizen just wanted a reaction because he was filming it and the cop prob realized it and wasn't suckered in.

GLOW 10-25-2012 08:23 AM

the cop showed class, the "citizen" was an ass

drunkrussian 10-25-2012 09:50 AM

lol americans are nuts

Eff-1 10-25-2012 10:00 AM

lol the cop looks so confused.

Phil@rise 10-25-2012 10:21 AM

if that happened here the cop woulda pulled him over and ticketed him for undo care and attention

wasabisashimi 10-25-2012 11:13 AM

and you wonder why there's police brutality....

Matlock 10-25-2012 01:47 PM

Geez louise. Who cares? If the cop wants to fly through his wind shield one day, just let him.

If the people who enforces the law cannot set a good example for the others, then they are not doing their job correctly.

bing 10-25-2012 03:11 PM

This guy should have saved his dignity instead of yelling like a lunatic and subsequently uploading it on youtube. If it really bothered him that much he should just say, "I have this on film and if you do not put on your seatbelt I will forward this to the chief." End of story.

This is merely a trivial MVA contravention with the potential of a stipulated fine and not a criminal offense.

N8 10-25-2012 04:14 PM

Had a good chuckle from this, pretty sure hes just trying to get a reaction from the cop.. surprised he didnt get one when he pulled in front of him

AzNightmare 10-25-2012 05:23 PM

But why is an officer exempt from wearing a seat belt if a normal civilian will get a ticket for not wearing one?

I would like to hear the officer's reasoning.

falcon 10-25-2012 05:41 PM

Police aren't actually required by law to wear a seat belt. Moron.

^^ to answer the above, IIRC it's to allow quick exit of the vehicle if needed.

inv4zn 10-25-2012 10:14 PM

Sebbery is probably going insane itching to post in this thread, but won't because he'll get failed for years worth of trolling in his little police forum haven lol

He doesn't leave the police forum. "Why should I post about things that don't interest me?" says he.

hmm, I guess every second matters...

Or I see... Make everyone else wear seatbelts.
That way Police get the advantage when they're on the chase. :fullofwin:

Yodamaster 10-26-2012 12:46 AM

Filming sideways while driving.

Cop not wearing a seatbelt.

Handheld filming is not a good way to spread the word about idiocy while driving.

and,

While I understand that cops need to exit quickly, it's a bad example.

Before you call him a moron...you should understand that police are required to wear seat belts unless state legislation says otherwise. In Michigan, police are required to wear seat belts and not only is it against the law, its' a direct violation of their internal police rules and regulations.

LOL just find it amusing because you call him a moron, which is still true, but for the wrong reasons. :S

Gumby 10-26-2012 10:58 AM

Who else was waiting to see a rear-end or t-bone accident?

looks more like the DEA from breaking bad but with squinty eyes.

nns 10-28-2012 09:15 AM

Of all the confrontational videos there are on youtube between cops and civilians, this probably ranks as one of the least confrontational.

The open carry gun nuts looking to bait cops into an argument are some of the worst. Though it sure is great when the cops don't get lured in, and the guys videotaping it end up looking like asses.
