I wonder if by 100 Keefer St, they mean one of those shitty little pay parking lots with little to no light and no security. Once long ago, I drove in, saw broken glass all over the ground, then drove out.

Hide any valuable that may be in your car. I work for one of these parking companies and it never surprises me how people leave cash, wallets, purses in plain site. Also these little signs work great.

I totally agree, my car is unlocked in my underground (with all consoles open), if it is parked anywhere, I just leave the consoles open, but lock the doors - I would say hobos aren't walking around manned parkades looking for unlocked cars, ppl who break in to cars are there for a quick smash and grab

One area I always see broken window glass is on the south side of pacific drive between Richards and Granville, I would never park there!

I know this isn't about street parking, but almost every other time I run or walk along that sidewalk, i see it

I dont think this will ever top Surrey still, as the number one city of car theft in North America.

I'd say Champlain market is the most dangerous place to park (off topic) I don't worry about theives, just older folk swinging their doors open onto my car or just hitting me parking forward... if I didn't drive an older corolla with solid steel bumpers, I'd never go back there again. I've been going there for 5 years, about 10 hits so far... most of them were very kind and apologetic. never cared but I guess I'll never own anything newer than 87
on a side note, I always see a newer white Subaru sedan sti, white 370z, blue 2004isj Subaru wrx and a few civics park together at the Starbucks there... you guys got balls lol

There's always broken glass all over the ground on Olive Avenue in Burnaby, close to where Waves is.

I also wouldn't park in the streets anywhere near main and hastings. Saw this hobo with mental disabilities wiping a black 370z with a dirty paper towel and his spit.
