Christmas Market
Bright Lights

Just 2 that i thought of right away.

There's also the Van Dusen Festival of Lights :) I haven't been since about 2004, but I remember it being really fun (despite my bf at the time being a huge jerk about it), especially since I love christmas lights.

I read that as "Light Bright" and got really excited because that is a kick ass gift. Then I read it again...

I miss my Light Bright.

btw, the german christmas market is NOT worth going to.
I think they made it a bit better this year, but last year when we went it was terrible.
probably going to rain, crowded, and very small.
the bratwurst hotdogs there are really really good though

I don't think it's really hard to get gifts if you actually pay attention to what your SO wants/says. Most women will lay down hints of some sort, so as long as you pay attention to these once in while, (instead of thinking about your next blowjob,) it's pretty simple. Or better yet, you could always learn how to bake or cook something.

In terms of ideas, it's already the 10th so Christmas will come and go before you realize it. There really should be only 1 or 2 evenings left you need to fill. Between Christmas parties with family, friends, and our companies, our Christmas is more or less booked solid.

But, if you're really stumped, there's nothing wrong with spending an evening downtown. Here's my suggested agenda:

- Go for a quick skate at Robson Square. The ice sucks and the rink is small, but it's really quite quaint.
- Check out the Christmas displays at various hotels such as the Hyatt, the Fairmont Vancouver, the Shangra-La, etc. Grab your SLR and take some night shots of the Christmas tree down by the Olympic torch.
- Finish the evening at Thierry on Alberni. Every woman loves Thierry because they have nicely decorated pastries and it takes its inspiration from France.
- Go home and have great sex because she'll think you're a boss for showing her the best of what Vancouver has to offer.

Any gift sets from Sephora if your gf is into makeup. Their gifts sets have all the best selling products put together for the price of what 1 full-size product usually cost. When in doubt just ask one of the sales and they will tell you which products are most popular as gifts.

On top of my head:
- Urban Decay Naked Palette
- Urban Decay Naked 2
- Clarisonic Skin Cleansing System
- Any nail polish set (girl can never have too many nail polish)
- Any pretty looking make-up brush set (can never have too many brushes)

They have an excellent return policy as well so your gf can just exchange it for something else if she doesn't like it or already have it.

Hope that helps...^^'

laundry detergent, fabric softener, sandwich griddle, cook book and for a stocking stuffer an immersion blender.

My wife and I don't do gifts for each other for occasions like birthdays, Christmas or any of those cheesy faux holidays like Valentines day, makes life so much more simple.

I'm hoping to get there some day.

It's pretty ridiculous, really.

Today I caught myself thinking... do I upgrade something she already has that's still working perfectly? (phone, camera)
Or get her more of what she already has too much of? (clothing, jewelry, bags, shoes, etc...)

This year I'm thinking I take her out to do something rather than getting her a tangible object. Maybe a weekend away, concert tickets, 1-day class, nice dinner out, etc.

Depends on the guy. Is he a video game guy? A sports guy?

Most guys would rather have something practical than something materialistic.

Off the top of my head, I'd much rather have some new gym gear, desk lamp, backpack, or hell, even a Starbucks or gas station gift card - something I'd actually use regularly, than an overpriced wallet or piece of clothing.

But maybe I'm just speaking for myself.
