UGM, First Baptist church downtown.. nearly all churches in downtown core has soup kitchens.

We need 30 hours now. Community center agreed to let us start volunteering then do training after

Also found some event called the Chilly Chase in downtown that im gonna go do with my friends.

Will keep looking. Thanks for all your suggestions so far guys

i'm volunteering at a senior home, just push the elderly in wheelchairs down to the basement for mass then bring them back up.

I'm In the same boat as you man. Soup kitchens down town like 'The Door is open' has been a pretty cool experience for me.

^ I would, but i would prefer there be a bigger group of 7-8 people.

Last time i went walking DTES with a buddy for a project........lets just say it was a terrifying experience.

You get what you feel out of it. The DTES is a really pleasant place if you aren't too afraid of it. I love the vendors on the street. I tend not to haggle with them when I see something I want. The binners worked hard for that shit.

LOL it's changed sooo much...gentrified to the max, especially Chinatown and the immediate area around Army & Navy (e.g. Pigeon Park)

you guys don't have any clubs at school? I was part of key club in my Highschool and accumulated 300+ hours in grade 10-12
