It is in human nature to get butt hurt when someone they know ends up making it and becomes successful. Rather than focus on themselves, they focus on others and try to bring them down. They say, "that could've been me". Indeed, it could definitely be you if you spent more time being inspired by the success of other people rather than getting mad, wondering why it wasn't you. The success of other people will not deter another from also achieving success. Jason, props to you! Posted via RS Mobile |

My old piano teacher's favourite quotes were, "Time spent worrying about what others think is right, can be better spent working on what you think is right." and "It takes a sprinter more effort to look over his shoulder, than it takes for him to keep sprinting." It's so easy to criticize writers, actors, musicians, athletes, whatever. But they're the ones who are out there actually doing it. Even the people that are commonly hated. Tucker Max, Stephanie Meyer, Bieber, Minaj, whoever. They all had to start somewhere, and had to make themselves to do it. Max and Meyer had to sit down and actually put time and effort into writing their books and finding agents. Bieber learned guitar and piano on his own time, and Minaj wrote/recorded her early demos by herself. Whether you like it or not, doing those things take time and devotion. Those books and music styles aren't my cup of tea, but how can you hate on people who put themselves out there and became successful in doing so? Sure, luck plays a part. But you can't say everyone who made it just got lucky. |

Buy an EPIC camera for 25k and travel the world capturing insane shit. If I were a young mofo with rich parents, I would borrow the cash to get an EPIC camera EPIC and I would go here: http://i800.photobucket.com/albums/y...s/_MG_0143.jpg Then I would probably make other cool travel videos, and perfect my ability to show extreme environments to people. Maybe take the EPIC to Everest! |
Also, you would get laid by hot chicks everywhere |

To be honest money makes a difference, but up to a certain income ... It also depends on your own aspirations and what you wanna do in life, because for a majority of things anybody would want in life they will need money to do it .. its kinda sad but this is the reality of our society |

Maaaan, we live in such awesome times, comparitively! You have a dream? As long as you have the cash and/or willpower you can make it happen! |
some people's dreams are that cash should disappear, so that they don't need to have a dream to feel like life has meaning lol. |

Because I'm going to market the SHIT out of it online and MMLAMF through online sales, but all the profits from however many books I sell at the actual event I'm going to donate. I figure it's a good thing to do since the book is full of marijuana, blow, and heartbreak. |
LOL just got a press release about your book, Jason. |
This is pretty epic. I remember a time when members were hating on Jason's posts, trolling him, or calling bullshit on whatever he says. Now, it's the complete opposite. I love the interwebz. Posted via RS Mobile |
People may think Jason is vain or egotistical, but I've always enjoyed his posts. He brings a particular personality to RS that's rare in the world. |
shit, I might pick up this book |
If I end up making a shit ton of money from this book, I will buy an Aventador and take each and every RS member a ride in it if they want, hehe Come down to the launch party from 6-9 PM at the Portside Pub in Gastown, February 14th!!! |
