Valentines 2013 Since every year we have members who get stress out at the last minute as to what to get or do on valentines day, I though this year is better if we start a thread earlier. For myself I already order flowers from (No advertising allowed) Very decent, I heard good reviews form them and their flowers are very fresh and decent price. As for dinner I still deciding which place to go to Seasons in the Park, Hart House Restaurant or West. Since My date will away for the week on Feb 14 (business trip). I can celebrate the week after which means we won't have to spend extra on food and have to order their set menus. Seasons in the Park is very nice. Nice view and you can walk around the park after. Same with Hart House. West have decent food but not as romantic. In terms of present I order the necklace online which was way cheaper than buying it local. So I suggest if you have to save some money and have a nice present order it early online or make a trip to the states. If you do want to order online I recommend Amazon.com. and try to buy stuff sold by Amazon.com. They usually have super fast delivery (They usually offer FREE with Super Saver Shipping and Free Return) so my order came in 3 days. As for the present itself, it is a good idea to think about how to wrap it or present it. I got an empty box and decorate it. Inside I put cotton balls and folded 540 lucky starts inside and the necklace sits nicely in the center. As long as you put effort and though into the present girls will like it. Is not how much the present is worth but rather how thoughtful the present is. Anyone can just throw $1k and get a LV bag but that's not a surprise at all. As for the guys, girls love a guy with a plan so make a really good plan for that day so your date don't have to think about what to do. Girls hate thinking and love it when a guy have a good plan. Even have a back up plan just in case. And don't expect anything in return just have a good time together and you will get what you want. EDIT for other gift ideas you can try http://www.nameastarlive.com/nameast...ntplusGift.asp Name a star. Think about how nice it is to have star name under your girlfriend (although most sites like these are fake but that's not important). The important point is that it is very romantic. If anyone have anything interesting to share please post to help out fellow RSers. |

You do realize that by blowing your load too early with gifts that you're only raising expectations which will become increasing difficult to meet as your relationships grows, right? Just bake her a treat, or make her dinner. Any woman worth keeping will appreciate your efforts. Posted via RS Mobile |
i've done the star thing like back in 2001.. |
Valentines? :fuckthatshit: :alone: :okay: Posted via RS Mobile |
I think Valentines Day is a great thing for single men. The women in the city will come out of their post-holiday hangover, will be in slightly better shape because they've been running/hitting the yoga mat/or cleansing and will be looking to mingle. Instead of posting "forever alone", some of you guys should be in hunting mode. Posted via RS Mobile |
Was gonna be our one year anniversary :okay: Saves me the hassle Posted via RS Mobile |
