if you look back at qualifying for the 2004 grand prix Michaels pole position qualifying time was 1:13.306 2004 German Grand Prix - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and I guess we can expect times to be even slower next year -_- fucking FIA

Ummm, the 2004 race was at Hockenheim, not the Nurburgring.

HonestTea 07-08-2013 09:39 AM

One more lap for Kimi and he might've gotten P1!

Even Vettel was laughing afterwards saying that if their was one more lap, he would've been in hugeee trouble!

Props to Grosjean! Huge team player! I hope he stays for the rest of the season since I think he has the speed, it just needs to be refined and get more experience!

Rumor has it, Sauber is gonna let Hulkenberg(sp?) walk because they can't afford to pay his salary? LOL WUT?! I think it's time to get Nico into the 2nd Ferrari seat :)

That's correct. I think StylinRed was probably referring to the European GP at the Ring:

thanks i thought that was an insanely fast qualifying :lol but didnt bother checking

Glad I wasn't the only one thinking about this :fullofwin:

^ factor in that lewis still isn't 100% at getting the maximum potential outta his car..

hes got quite a bit more pace

tamazoid 07-28-2013 05:52 AM

Lewis finally got his first win with Mercedes.

What a battle with Kimi staying ahead of Vettel til the end! Can't wait to see how next season will be if Kimi joins Red Bull with Vettel! Most likely more crazy battles ahead.

impactX 07-28-2013 06:44 AM

Vettel would just get schooled... all that whining about Kimi not giving him enough room. :lol

godwin 07-28-2013 08:56 AM

Jenson Button got to be the worse team picker in F1 history!

HonestTea 07-28-2013 10:33 AM

This was a surprisingly exciting race! Hungaroring is known for its boring races and hard to overtake characteristics but today's race seemed to be pretty exciting!

The drive through penalty for Grosjean was fucking HORRIBLE! Absolutely the wrong call, even Massa(the car he overtook) thought it was a bad penalty as well. Man..their has to be some consistency with the penalties being handed out.

Kimi Vs. Vettel at the end was pretty exciting, future teammates next year, yes? ;)

Props to Hamilton for getting his first Mercedes win! It was a tough one, especially at the start when Vettel tried to overtake him.

What...... there's no way they'll be teammates next year...

godwin 07-28-2013 09:04 PM

Webber is moving to Porsche.. I am not sure if Kubica will ever be back. I can see Kimi going to either Red Bull or Massa's spot.

It's down to Ricciardo and Kimi for the vacant RBR seat. I want Kimi to go there IMO, it's kinda like Jenson going to McLaren in 2010 but even more exciting, IF he gets equal treatment from RBR and Helmut Marko  But I really think Ricciardo will get the seat, just a feeling.

Kimi vs. Seb in a RBR...would be quite a sight to watch ;)

Edit: Kimi will NEVER go back to Ferrari, with the way they treated him last time, I really doubt he would go back for any reasonable amount Ferrari will be willing to pay. They interviewed someone from Ferrari a few days ago, I think it was Domencali? stating that their we're absolutely no chance of hiring Raikkonen.

Also Magic is signed through 2016, I doubt they would terminate his contract to bring in Raikkonen. And Alonso vs. Kimi in the same team is a disaster waiting to happen.

Either Kimi stays at Lotus and Ricciardo gets promoted to RBR or Kimi goes to RBR and Ricciardo stays at STR(Possible to Lotus as well)

Not really racist! 07-28-2013 11:12 PM

Second driver for RBR always has to be Vettel's bitch.... Kimi isn't gonna bend over for him at all...

and Vettel will just complain when he doesn't get his way.. so fuck that

mb_ 07-28-2013 11:53 PM

With that being said, Ricciadro seems like the likely front runner for that 2nd seat.

Alonsos agent was meating with Horner maybe he RB is going to buy out his contract for next year

and Lotus is having trouble paying Kimis 3million euro salary + bonuses (for every point) It'll be hard for Kimi to stay if he gets a fatter pay cheque elsewhere

Hungarian grid girls :drool

Exciting race.

Romain's penalty was bullshit. It's a shame to see wheel to wheel action like that resulting in penalized drivers.

I hope that Kimi and Fernando close the gap to Vettel in the WDC standings and give him a run for his money.

Not really racist! 07-29-2013 01:35 PM

them grid girls...

anyone catch Vettel spraying one of em during the champagne celebration? :p
