Any business card designers out there?

I'm looking for someone who will help me design a personal business card that will look professional, yet stand out from other students. Willing to pay nicely. Any examples of what the designer created would help

Please reply here or PM me if you know anyone or if you are interested.

Thanks!

Dude, there are so many websites online that make it virtually impossible for you to design a shitty looking business card. Go online and look at some of them. They're dirt cheap and they come with TONS of designs. Customize it to YOUR liking, with YOUR personal touch on it, and you'll be satisfied. Lots of options for finishes and the money you save on having someone else design it for you, you can spend that money on the quality of the card.

I don't know if there are business card sponsors on this forum so I can't post the site that I usually go to but it's a fairly common company online. I'm sure if you Google it, you'll come across it.

4444: care to explain why you failed me?

vistaprint is garbage. their business cards, even the most expensive premium ones which i have, are garbage. they are smaller than full size and not as thick as professional cards, and my printer at home prints better quality. and their price is a bait and switch. and there are horror stories all over the internet of people getting scammed by vistaprint.

so go on, post your opinion.

I've used vistaprint a few times with nothing but great results. I'm not saying that it's the best business card out there, but its a great inexpensive card. I've always uploaded my own designs, so i'm not sure if that makes a difference.

i have to say u get what u pay for, ive used cheap ones like vistaprint and ive gone to a local shop that made beautiful cards for 5X the price and it's worth 5X the price. id u really want to stand out, get a real designer and have a sit down and ask for a portfolio of past projects.

As a person who works in the printing industry and specializes in the business to business world. Vista Print isnt the place for your b2b user to be using. Vista Print targets your everyday consumer who isnt running a business or wants to do their business cards on a budget. If you wanted good quality you wouldnt have even THOUGHT about sending your business card there. You want good quality you better be prepared to pay up to the yin and yang for it.

You go to Vista Print because you want $10 business cards. And that's what you get. $10 business cards. They don't look like 'garbage', ie. the font is crisp, the colours are decent, there are preset designs.

You can pay way more, and get way better quality. It all depends on your market and who you'll be giving the cards to, and if they will care or notice.

Focus on your product or service, and *maybe* a nice business card will help.

I got a sample pack from clubcard from my gfs mom. Lots of cool designs and interesting styles. I'd like to get it done with them but I'd prefer to design it in person. Go to their shop and get personal opinions instead of doing it all over the net.

I got my cards done at Clubcard. If you know what you're doing, or have someone help you out, they do a good job for the price you pay. Don't expect any service though - it's run by too-cool-for-school Gastown types.

Where else can you get 16 point card stock for 40 bucks? Not many places in the city can do that.
