I think a Townhouse or a big 2 bedroom apartment. However I would think a townhouse is better since it is bigger and the starta fees are generally cheaper than an apartment. |
http://www.plotos.com/wp-content/upl...nk-Beds-90.jpg http://designkastle.com/wp-content/u...-Bed-Style.jpg If you have 900 - 1200 sq ft apartment, install one of these in your living room. Your living room is your kids' room, and that plus your kitchen will be your family hang out room. Put a TV in your room until the kids gets older, then put it in the living room with a sofa bed. Then you guys can have a sleep over in the kids room occasionally when they're older. It's doable, you just have to consider what sort of lifestyle you'll put your kids in. But in the end, anyone will suggest a house or a 2 bedroom apartment at the least. |

You can live in a trailer park and drive a brand new 458. Where do the kids live? Well the Ferrari has a trunk, doesn't it:fullofwin: |
40k isn't a lot dude. |
just live in richmond, delta, or surrey. they have cheap houses there that you can possibly afford with a 30 - 50k annual income. don't even think about getting a house in vancouver, burnaby or north van without atleast 80 - 150k (if you paying it by yourself) annual income. suck it up until the bubble bursts (if ever). |
prices in richmond are cheap? are you nuts lol? |
must be a joke. richmond is overran by mainlanders inflating the prices waaaaay up. |
i know a family with 3 kids in a 1 bedroom condo, space is tight af |

you can be happy with that for sure, maybe not comfortable though.. but i wonder why would you settle for less when you can have more? unless that is if it's your desire to live like that, then no problem |

I know chinese fucking geeks are sitting on millions of their parent's wealth, but does that buy them an ounce of cool or status beyond their own social circles? so IMO i value life experiences. My bank account is $0 but if your life is full of joy and experiences, you're already rich |
