I coded my f01, got the software and cable for F series cars.

Mind you you will need to buy either the cable or bluetooth or wireless dongle which I do not have yet. If you search some BMW forums, there seems to be pretty good review of it. You can try the free version to test it first

anyone know how to properly install PA soft scanner and the drivers for the cable? Cant seem to get mine to work. keeps saying "hardware not ready" after i switch ignition on and press continue...

What's your production date? If 2000 or before, you need a 20pin to 16pin adapter.

2001-04-05
i have tried on my macbook using xp virtual machine and i couldnt get the driver to work. I got further on my old vista laptop and im pretty sure i installed the driver correctly but I just got the hardware popup after pressing continue...
