12 golden ducks was shit. I love honger movies but some are just meh, i like the concept but execution was crap. glad i watched it at hom.

武媚娘传奇 they had a few issues with her exposing herself too much, the china version was "censored" with CG on her chest but I'm sure you know that already.

China version zoomed in on the head in scene with cleavage.
HK version digitally placed a piece of cloth over the cleavage.
Taiwan version is the original that is unedited.

Membership for Dramafever is only $12 for a year for those who use it. Thought it was worth it to watch ad free for 99c a month.

Old bump cuz thread didnt get bumped in a long ass time. Just finished Beyond the Rainbow which is an HKTV drama...must say...excellent acting from all cast members even extras. The plot is also excellent but it does kind of get confusing/all over the place in the first few episodes...last few episodes killed me with ninjas and onions everywhere....gotta say...will miss the HKTV dramas after September and TVB has been releasing pretty mediocre quality shows

I watched Jian Bing Man at Riverport last week. It was a pretty decent movie. I was expecting total shit. The synopsis online was totally off. Also, some really amazing cameo's. I nearly cried seeing a reunited group make an appearance in the movie at the end. Won't say who for spoilers sake.

Momentary Lapse Of Reason feels like one of the top TVB drama this year. Lots of bromance.

i just googled the trailer and i'm like wtf....

Monster Hunt 捉妖記 (2015)
Not bad. Chinese animator wanted to make a movie but didn't want to explain the chinese back stories on 殭屍 (chinese vampires).

Male lead was suppose to be the dude from "apple of my eye" but until he was arrested from drug charges, they reshot 1/2 of the movie.

all in all, decent movie, flow and not too shabby.

To The Fore (2015) 破風 was pretty good too. slow at times but it's first of the genre to be made.

Who's watching Another Era 再創世紀?

I'm on Episode 4

I feel like the cinematography in it is pretty great. (The Drone Shots overseas are nice)

Story line is meh, not as juicy as I would like it to be.

realistically, i'm watching it for Linda Chung and the Vancouver Scenes
and I also miss Niki Chow
Nice to see some of the "OGs" come back - almost feels like the good old days

^Series is so damn confusing trying to figure whom is playing which role in the first couple episodes. No joke, but I fell asleep in the first episode. Not as exciting as the first two series.

I think in Van it's just starting. I just finished the whole thing today, it was meh but it did prompt me to redownload the old series so that's gonna be sick.
