Wheel enhances the experience 10x, even if it's just the budget wheels without a shift gate. Everyone needs to give a wheel a try, once you go wheel you can't go back. I don't really mind the standard cars actually, but a few more customizable parts for all the cars would be nice.

many of us do...for me it's less about shaving milliseconds off a lap time and the real satisifaction comes from the traction feedback. Man if only they made a wheel with feedback in the clutch and shifter...

I can't wait for the reviews

"Great movie but starts off slow with the first hour spent on license tests"

"How many Skylines can you fit in one scene?"

"What the fuck is an Escudo!?"

"How come the cars are invincible with no damage?"

"Who races with a Prius?"

Just picked up a copy last night.

Apparently the Euro version of the game has arrived in HK and shops already started selling it.

But prepare to be disappointed. So far I've played about 3 hours. The game is hella easy. I could get gold on the first try on all license test up to international B class.
hardly seem to be any new cars since GT5. or cars that are new aren't very interesting. I've been driving a bone stock BRZ and already beating cars like Z8. If you are a JDM car fan, GT is definitely the best choice.

Driving wise, the game improved a lot. Cars respond a lot better and now have body roll. The game is still great, but better than GT5 overall. But just don't be expect it to wow you. Think of it of GT5.1 LOL

I think the best comparison between GT and Forza is that GT is Best Motoring and Forza is Top Gear.

Is it filled with in game purchases or are they saving that for the next one?

No in game purchases, but they are not giving out a lot of reward cars this time. So either grind or buy in game credits off psn store. Each race don't give a lot of credits either.

The game is still 1.0 and the day one patch is not live yet. Neither are their servers, so I can't access any online mode. B spec mode has not been implemented yet either.

The new tracks like Bathurst, Matterhorn and brands hatch are all very fun to drive. But the AI so far in the first 4 license level are a joke. I just unlocked international A, but I can't afford any of the cars to compete I'm them yet lol

Thanks for posting the intro to GT6, cause that's the only time i'll ever watch it. Never gonna buy another GT game, after playing Forza for a long time now.

The biggest thing that bothers me about GT, is the AI of the cars. All they do is follow the same line on the track over and over, never changes. I want them to be smart, and race me, challenge me and adapt! I don't play online either, maybe that has something to do with it. GT is just boring. Forza FTW, i'll take 200 cars and a few tracks over 55 GTR's, 42 NSX's, and 25 BRZ's any day.

Bathhurst, and Spa look sweet though!

I wonder what are the chances GT will be ported to PS4 or start from scratch for GT7?
I have no motivation to pick up GT6 because of standard model...seriously they need to let 10 year old sprites go

GT6 Standard Cars Comparison Photos Thread - GTPlanet
Still a decent option. (IE: driving your own car in game) but if removing standards = more premiums then I'm all for it. By the improved standards do look A LOT better in gt6; just look at the Mercedes C9

UGH, WTF IS THIS SHIT. Not a fan of microtransactions for a game you've already paid $60 for. Especially if it's true that they reduced rewards from races.

Gran Turismo 6 microtransaction pricing confirmed - GameSpot

Quote:
"Users have the optional choice to purchase in-game credits in increments of 500,000 through the PS Store to unlock content faster if they prefer to do that rather than earn them through gameplay," Sony said. "We do not require players to purchase or use purchased in-game currency."

Full pricing details are listed below.

500,000 credits - $4.99

1,000,000 credits - $9.99

2,500,000 credits - $19.99

7,500,000 credits - $49.99

Pricing details for individual vehicles was not provided. However, a video leaked to YouTube shows that one of the most expensive vehicles--the Jaguar XJ1--will sell for 20 million credits, or more than $130. This information is based on early code of the game, meaning final pricing may change.
