3ds games hover around 500mb to 1.5 gb or even up to 4gb now unlike ds games where some can be as little as 40mb for those 2d games.. remember the 3ds is essentially equivalent of the 6th gen consoles like ps2 and gamecube
i had a flashcard for my ds lite and with soo many games to download i cant bring myself to stick to one game and finish.....
soo is there a flashcard like the R4 back in the days for the 3DS XL now? something I can use to download new games onto the SD card without having to mod my 3DS XL
After playing games with my N3DS XL for only a couple of hours it's not working anymore... So far I've tried starting from step 1 and formatting emunand again, tried 3 different micro SD cards, tried reformatting the SD cards but nothing worked. I've even run the diagnostic test in gateway menu and everything passed
The error message that I keep seeing is "the game card has been removed". It's weird though since the gateway card sees the game when I press select and sometimes the game will run for about 5 seconds before the message shows up.
And Vansterdam, your best bet would be the gateway or sky3ds. The gateway IMO is the best if you're under 9.2, if you're above that you would have to use the sky3ds.
I've used 3 different SD cards, so no way it's the SD cards. Gonna probably send it back to modchipcentral tomorrow. Defintely not the contacts on my 3ds as I can play my legit mario kart cart just fine without any errors.

I found Mario 3D land to be very refreshing and enjoyable when I first played it. Only got partway through it due to lack of time.

Mario 3D Land may seem like a cakewalk, especially with the P-wing gimme, but once the challenge really doesn't begin until you finish the main worlds, and move onto the Special worlds.
I bought a New 3DS a month ago, and it is awesome. With the Stable 3D, I just leave the 3D on all the time. It's amazing, and gives a new element to all my old games. Everything loads a lot faster, too. It's especially noticeable with Smash Bros.
Recently, Nintendo released a Free-to-Play game called Badge Arcade. It's claw machine games where you catch badges to stick on your home screen. It's $1.29 +tax for 5 plays. Otherwise, if you're a cheap-ass like me, you'll just take the free plays they'll give you every-so-often. Also, there's a practice game you can play each day. Every 10 practice badges you collect will get you 1 free play.
I've been playing it for the past couple weeks, and I'm up to 86 badges. I haven't spent anything, yet. I highly recommend giving it a go.
