Thanks for the quick feed back! Was just looking to play some of the older Nintendo DS games without having the 3DS to be bricked.

Club Nintendo just posted a couple game card cases. There's 2 different "styles": Animal Crossing and Zelda. Each set has 3 reversible covers. It can hold 18 3DS/DS games, and is the same form factor as a 3DS game case. There was one on Club Nintendo a long while back. This is going to go fast, so if you have 400 coins, this is a good choice to spend it on.

I had some free time this afternoon, so I figured I try and setup a Streetpass Relay (aka Nintendo Zone). Basically, these relays will get you 10 Streetpasses every 8 hours per MAC address. Now, I can finally get a decent amount of Streetpasses to complete some more puzzles!

I set it up with help from this link: Setting up a StreetPass Relay at home : 3DS

Basically, you need to setup a wifi access point called 'attwifi', and set the wireless MAC to one of the ones on this list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...6SkJablE#gid=0 . Each MAC address will give you streetpasses every 8 hours.

Unless you want other people using it, make sure you secure the access point. Since I don't care to share my relay with strangers, I've set the wireless security to WPA, and created a password. Then, I just added the connection to my 3DS setup.

What kind of games do you like to play? There is quite a large library of 3DS games that are out now. If you can find one that you like, that's enough to make the purchase worth it.

I have my XL with me at all times. It helps kill time if I find myself waiting for something. It seems more people are getting a 3DS. The frequency for streetpasses has gone up in the last few months.

Pokemon X/Y is great if you like pokemon. The new 3D perspective that they've added is a pretty awesome change to the series.

Personally, I find it really fun. It is a good time killer as Presto mentioned and collecting streetpasses is pretty cool too (and the puzzles are fun).

I have a DS before and I spend hours and hours no end to it. I play pokemon, FF, Mario Kart, Mario, Animal Crossing........ but since smart phones came to light I haven't tough my DS but now I am finding games on smart phones and tablets to be pretty boring....... is the same thing over and over with different graphics.....

Starting March 1, Pokemon X or Y is free with 3DS purchase + qualifying game. Mario Kart 7 and Animal Crossing are qualifying games. If you haven't opened Pokemon, you can return it, and just redeem it for free after Mar 1.

Should return Pokemon Y if you haven't opened it already! You get it free in a week with the other games you bought!
