True that. I tried a whole bunch from Aries to Claratin to London Drugs house brand and finally settled with Reactin cuz it worked!

i just got the prescription and went back and he gave me the shot. Easy as that.

The first time i went to my drop in clinic with serious allergy issues the doctor recommended it. After that I would get the shot once a year around late spring/ early summer when my allergies get crazy.

There are side effects of course. Mainly outlined "may cause liver damage" if taken in strong doses constantly. I talked to the doctor and he mentioned that the warning was based on dose sizes used in america (cc is higher because of higher average weight or something). Long story short, he told me that the dose i get is small and i only need it once a year and there shouldnt be any issues. every drug causes something

I usually don't have allergies as bad as this year. I don't even want to go outside when its sunny because it gets so ruthless. Also, apparently when you have allergies and you are around pets, they can get worse. Even if you aren't allergic to pets?

Oh I see. Thanks a lot man. I will see to it that I get this shot taken..I think the pros definitely outweigh the cons here. Especially when I am at work talking to people..getting bad headaches because of the allergies

right now im taking exact desloratadine allergy control pills. they take like 15-20 minutes to kick in but work for about 12-16 hours. the packaging says 24. if youre looking for allergy medication atm, my supervisor, which was once a pharmacist says "desloratadine" is the new stuff on the market at the moment and is better than "loratadine" i dont know any science behind this but it works. geneally look for the main ingredient and see if theres a cheaper alternative. i used to take claratin and reactin. works, but my body has grown immune to it

I do a couple things to prevent my symptoms from getting out of hand;

1.) Alternate between Claritin and Reactine every week, so week 1 Claritin, week 2 Reactine, and so forth

2.) Wash nose with saline solution once every week.

Works wonders and been doing for 8+ years now

Ditto here - one thing will work great for me one year, and not at all the next.

Also, I think my body must accumulate the stuff, because after a week or two, I find I can stop taking anything and I'm good for a few days... unfortunately the "hangover" wears off in an instant and then I'm blowing my brains out again.

My eyes are itching like crazy in the evening and in the morning.. not so much in the afternoon.. I'm mostly using eye drops to prevent rubbing my eyes, and only taking medicine when I really really need it......

Aerius and claratin works sometimes it's really weird, so I went to the doctor and he prescribed me pataday for my eyes and avamys for my nose.

So I got desperate and got presription nasal spray and surprisingly, it didn't work. What did work was switching over to Claritin..the one with the red label around it..it had never worked for me in prior years..weird

Nasal spray takes a few days for it to start being effective, just gotta keep using it.

Doesn't help with eyes though.

I changed the car cabin filter element for an allergen reduction insert cut from a home furnace filter.
A layer of charcoal filter doesn't hurt either.
Discussion here

Edit;
Fram makes one for my car

My gf has been having it pretty bad the last two weeks, but mine just kicked in today. Not sure which pollen is high today, mine usually kicks in later on in the summer.

A lot of sneezing and sniffles but luckily no itchy eyes or throat.
