That reminds me, I must get a dashcam for the new car asap. More important than tint, APR Stage 1 flash, LED tails.

Good luck with ICBC OP.

Without witnesses, its your word against hers.

If the other person claims they were driving along and you rear-ended them, you're going to be SOL and unlike others who state here, it will NOT be 50/50.

Your claim is that she reversed into you. You will have to prove that. Dashcam's are becoming a must-have nowadays

Get a dashcam for sure best investment for any car owner. I had an incident earlier this year where I was driving down a parking aisle and as I was passing by this car parked in a stall the guy reversed without looking and hit my rear right quarter panel and wheel. I had one hell of a time dealing with ICBC on that one... They said I swiped him as I drove by...

Did you ask the Price Smart Foods manager for possible video evidence?
Maybe they have a camera overlooking the parking lot?

I went to ICBC Collision center today. Adjuster told me that the other party phoned in and accepted her fault.

Faith in humanity restored !

Once again thank ALL of you guys for the inputs and ideas on this ! Really appreciated that !

If you want something cheap, this is what I have

6 IR LED 2 5" TFT Color LCD HD CAR DVR Camera Recorder | eBay

Not the greatest video quality but it does the job for me and I know a few other people who use the same one

^I use that one as my rear cam (If I'm not too lazy to set it up)

One really popular one is the DVR027 or DVR207. Around 60 bucks on ebay, great 720P Quality.

its probably been said before but, icbc gives insurance breaks for having an immobilizer, how about 10% off for having a dash cam? basically doing their job for them so they can kick back, watch the vid and get paid
