Did you take it to Private Modder? |
^ DAMN beat me to it hahaha |
Those JDM vans. I wish we get some of them here. |
Planning on doing this DIY with my own car, looks neat imo The lights aren't turned on http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...7/IMG_2408.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...7/IMG_2377.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...7/IMG_2384.jpg Once the lights are on the colored projectors do not affect light output http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...7/IMG_2418.jpg |
My buddies and I have done a few headlight mods, can I play? jtrinh's IS300 headlights, blacked out and added an amber strip. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8112/8...8667f07d_c.jpg Another buddy's IS300, with custom angel eyes and also blacked out. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3803/8...6576dcbb_c.jpg Santofu's EK headlights, painted the housings gun metal grey. I still wanna retrofit some projectors in, would be sick. Best picture I have. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8526/8...457bc2a1_c.jpg Entrax's old 87 Celica, with custom projectors. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8486/8...a76fec9a_c.jpg My custom low-rise projectors, a local guy made these for the MR2 and I was first to try them out. Entrax is gonna copy these and stick them in his car now, and maybe make a set for mb_ as well :P http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8489/8...816b816e_c.jpg Edit: Also did mb_'s Cobalt headlights, just painted housings black. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps8a695753.jpg |
nice. was going to demon eye my car but hate to think I had to redo it when the leds burn out |
I've done probably 5 sets over the last couple years. Pretty easy DIY job. only thing which is kind of a pita is removing the old sealant. |

just like Altezza taillights were invented by Toyota? |

For each manufacturer, they attempt to put something unmistakable and iconic onto their vehicles. Ie kidney grills on bmw. With that being said, if people want to put those onto their cars, and done tastefully I don't see a problem. That's what modding is about. Posted via RS Mobile |
Also the integrated exhaust on bumper was first done by Lexus. When IS-F first debut, people were like "exhaust isn't even connected!" but all the other manufactures started copying them. |
oh but that's pretty much same as anything...who came up with the pop up headlights? |

as long as the lights actually work and project a light pattern with a sharp cutoff. in other words, not ebay 100000000K HIDs in a halogen housing. |
