I bet he left the seat belt hanging in the door jam.

This makes it questionable whether or not Pagani has enough technology to properly utilize carbon fiber like Lexus do.

kwy 06-27-2013 12:54 AM

maybe not so much a craftsmanship issue than an engineering one

Mr.Money 06-27-2013 01:37 AM

every super car seems to have it's issue,i remember early ferrari 430's were catching on fire and Lamborghini because the gas line was too close to the exhaust.
lucky for the design flaw, the engineers caught it & the owners got a brand new one.
and remember that Ferrari enzo in Calgary that caught on fire?...wonder what happen to them.

LOL.

What is more questionable is whether or not your head has enough brain cells to properly utilize your brain like normal people do.

Wat? Carbon fiber isn't some mysterious new technology, it's been around for 50 years. I have enough technology to utilize carbon fiber in my kitchen.

TOPEC 06-27-2013 07:23 AM

here is a better video that is not out of focus like the one fking timpost posted

I love how there are multiple jackasses just standing there for 3 minutes straight filming the guy trying to close his door. These people need to get a life.

In unrelated news, that is a gorgeous blue.

You're fucking ignorant broski.

Lexus looms the best carbon fiber in the world, they're actually above Ferrari, Lamborghini, Koenigsegg, etc.
What you're talking about is wet-carbon layer that usually goes on top of fiberglass hood to make it look like it was made out of carbon, how cheap ass products normally do.

lowside67 06-27-2013 11:44 AM

Rofl, Timpo calling someone else ignorant. What is this world coming to?

xpl0sive 06-27-2013 11:58 AM

WHAT THE FUCK DOES CARBON FIBRE TECHNOLOGY HAVE TO DO WITH A DOOR NOT LATCHING? This fucking retard gets on my nerves. It's a car, made of thousands of parts. Sometimes a part fails, no car is perfect. So a door latching mechanism failed on a million dollar car. WHO THE FUCK CARES?

Can we please remove Timpo's ability to create new threads...?

fixed.

very necessary in the tool kit

Hustler604 06-27-2013 04:35 PM

visited Pagani factory last summer...they were working with a "new bread of carbon" that had some sort of metal strands (ok they prob werent metal, but you get the point) in the carbon weave. Did not watch the youtube, or anything TIMPO-posted, but i will say that they are MORE than capable of handling their carbon. And yes, I met Mr. Pagani and his son!

Phil@rise 06-27-2013 04:45 PM

I want my two minutes back. I thought the door would fall on his head somethin funny at least not somethin so stupid.

:suspicious: huh?

Ok I'm a complete amateur and don't know what kind of engineering backgroud you have or how much you know about carbon either...but I know that Lexus, Boeing and NASA do very well at handling carbon as well.

How to they compare to Pagani? I'm not sure, but I wonder how do you know that they're more than capable of handling carbon? Maybe they are, but is it extraordinary compare to other carbon fiber? I don't know.
