How about you make a regular burger at home and also buy one from McDonalds... then if the McDonalds burger decays first, Ill okay a name change to what ever you want...
but if the home burger gets moldy first you have to buy everyone in this thread so far a burger from a local mom and pop store.

I mean..it MUST be better than the way the US mcdonalds do it, right?...RIGHT?! | McDonalds in Canada imo is better than in the states.
I remember eating nuggets in the states, albeit way cheaper, I could tell the difference in quality instantly.

| OMG LOOK AT ALL THOSE CONVEYER BELTS MACDONALDS BEEF ISNT NATUERAL!!!!!!!!!
And BTW if NH3 is for some reason a concern to you, because you actually pay attention to that idiot Jamie Oliver, you might want to change most of your diet. Because it's EVERYWHERE. Why? Because there is nothing wrong with it. This is just another case of fear mongering to get one's propaganda across. Don't buy into the logical fallacy of Appeal to Authority. Jamie Oliver might be a great cook and a big TV star, but he is doing nothing more than using scary terms like "ammonia" and how McDonald's is so evil because they use it.
But again, just about every food you don't dig out of the ground yourself will have it. Have some onions and potatoes in a home cooked meal, and you'll definitely get more NH3 than you would from a burger patty.
There is twice as much NH3 in the bun than there is in the patty, and this goes for ANY restaurant you go to (or eat at home).
So again, I am standing up for the voice of reason here... This is nothing about defending McDonalds or anyone else. I am just against idiots like Jamie Oliver who are on a huge platform, and can spread misinformation because of appeal to authority, and using scary words like ammonium hydroxide. And just because something is on a conveyor belt, doesn't mean it is automatically bad somehow.

Wife started a garden this year. Finally got around to making the huge-ass garden boxes she's been asking me to make. Started eating the stuff grown from backyard. OMFG it's good stuff. The strawberries are just like the ones I used to pick when I worked the fields as a kid. Peas carrots, Swiss Chard, green onions, burdock, radishes, etc....... damn good. The above ground beds keep most of the pests away. Birds are a bit of a problem, though. Fucking crows.
Now, only if I could grow a cow, somehow...... hey, that rhymes! I'm a poet and I didn't even know it.

Go ahead and cook a patty at home that's the same size and try it out. I'll guarantee that both patties will look the same after any given amount of days or weeks.
It has absolutely nothing to do with chemicals or anything else that's allegedly put into a fast food burger.

Because of moisture??? how about all the preservatives in it?
Im not even going to get into 10 other reasons why is food is not good for you and its not because of the amount of calories. Quote:

That STUPID "mcdonalds burgers don't decay" myth is so easily explained, and you can do it yourself.
They press the shit out of the patties when they cook them, taking out most of the moisture. They toast the buns, taking out more moisture. Cook a burger the EXACT same way, you will get EXACTLY the same results.

Its pretty sad that you'd like to promote Anglo whites for a middle eastern army... but I'll stick to my word (and if mods allow this) if your homemade burger is a regular one... you live in Nanaimo so I guess rather then set a date to buy us all real food, you can Paypal the amount. Quote: hamburger patties are generally composed mostly of water, as well as varying percentages of random tissues, nerves, and a small percentage of actual meat.
....
amongst the eight fast food hamburger patties tested, meat content ranged between 2.1 and 14.8 percent, with an average of about 12.1 percent.
| Study - Your fast food hamburger may contain as little as 2 percent actual meat |

what do Anglo whites and a middle eastern army have to do with burgers?
They're fucking burgers. If you eat them, face whatever the hell happens to your health depending on where you get it. What fucking political agenda is there with them?

| OK your on.
Step 1: I am going to make the patty as thin as possible and then cook the crap out of it.
Step 2: I am going to put it in a clean air tight container.
Step 3: I am going to put it in the fridge.
For the McDonald's burger I am taking the patty out of the bun putting it on a wet plate. Then I am going to put a lamp over it to keep it warm.
You can admit defeat now and I will let you change your name back in 6 months or I can do the test and you can never change your name back. Your call.

To play devil's advocate here....I don't think he is that off topic with this burger/decay talk. I mean...we are talking about the quality/health/additives/etc. of McDonald's food, no?
Could have done without the random army shit, but for the most part, all his posts have been on-topic...
