I think a TDI of some form will have to be on the test drive list.
I have done some reading and it seems the new ones suffer from all the extra emissions stuff on them and throwing a decent exhaust on there really helps out.

Would be fun rolling coal in a Jetta hahahaha
I have a friend who drives a mk5 gti and his dad drives a mk6 tdi. He says the two cars feel very similar so the tdi should be quite sporty, although they are both the dual clutches and not the manuals so I can't say much about the gearbox

I know you said "no civics", and the CSX is basically an upscale Civic, but the CSX Type-S is infinitely more cool than a base model Civic or CSX (I still think a Civic Si is plenty fun, but I digress).

Asking price listed at $15,900, I'd imagine you could talk it down.

2008 Acura CSX Type-S

IMO, way more fun than an Auto TSX or TL if you can't find a manual one.

^ Good call.

It's not listed in the ad, but the CSX Type S I was looking at had Navi as well.. it's a good car to keep an eye out for and they seem to rarely be available for sale.. especially in white. Nice find.

Be careful with the 6MT transmission that comes in those, I had NOTHING but problems with the one on my Si. Getting locked out of gear, having it pop out of gear, grinding for no reason... Almost un driveable in the winter.

I had a 8th gen Si and never had any problems with the 6 speed tranny, might just be certain ones that had problems.

^ Google "8thcivic transmission problems" You'll see you're in the small minority.
