| Need some comments about the Universal Dry Shot ZEX Kit
Hello all... So I've been thinking about getting the universal dry shot nos kit from ZEX. I would like to have just a little more power under my foot when I need it and I don't want to dump a tonne of money on a custom turbo set up. Since there are not a lot of other options out there for the Vigor, I thought the next best thing would be the Zex kit and because it's only about $500, that's not too hard to achieve.
So I'm looking for those that have/had this kit and could tell me a little about their experiences with it. Just want to gather some info before I make the purchase. Thanks in advance!

Dry kits are never a great idea.
Unless you are tuned for it you can run dangerously lean when you use it.
And nitrous is like boost, once you have a little you WILL want more.
If you are going to get nitrous then I would recommend a wet kit. Even a single fogger system would be good, but a fogger that will give you the extra fuel to go with the nitrous is the safest way to go.
If you have a car that can be tuned for the dry kit then you would be good with that too. I know many aftermarket ECU's (eg. Hondatat) have an allocation for a nitrous signal so that you can richen the fuel mixture to mix with the nitrous. If this is something you can do I would recommend that.
What are you wanting to put the kit on?

You can run a dry 50 shot but run the risk of melting a piston if you do a long pull. A wet setup you can run 75-100 no problem.

You can run a 50 shot.
Just make sure you're running the proper fuel ratios when it hits. We used to use BS like FMU's and whatnot, but nowadays you can get proper ecu tuning and do it right. Without a timing controller your timing will be about 10 degrees retarded at all times so it doesn't melt a piston when the nawss hits. That means the car will be shyte without nitrous.
Welcome to the world of laughing gas. It's a fun way to go, but like dry humping, it leaves you wanting more. Commit and go with a wet shot, or turbo the beast and call it a day.

Is the car stock otherwise? What do you actually plan to do with your vehicle? Your vigor can already easily reach the posted speed limits, so don't risk melting your engine just to be able to pass a few more ppl.
- what kind of transmission?
- how many km on the motor?
- how muh are you actually able to spend?
- can you install it or tune it yourself?
- do you know exactly how nitrous works?

Unless your vehicle is a drag monster, wet shot is the way to go. Dry shot is way too much trouble for small gains.
