**SCAM** www.sponsoredwhips.com Don't Be Fooled

So after seeing this on Facebook a few times, I figured I would check it out. After all, who does not want deals on car parts or free stuff?

So I go to there website (www.sponsoredwhips.com) and fill out the form. Standard stuff, name, address, email, phone #, ect.

In the info below the form they state they will contact you within a few days to offer you whatever deals they can.

I received 3 calls, all from Denver, DE (1-302-747-6978). Now, seeing as I do not know the number nor anyone who lives there I let it go to voicemail. No voicemail is left.

Upon the 3rd call, they send me a txt that reads.

"We will report you lied"

This is where I got interested. I Googled there phone number and found out this is there tactic to somehow get people to send them money orders. They say they require them to give the sponsorship package or something.

Needless to say, they continued to send harrassing txt's to my phone and now I am informing all the good people on this forum of my experiance.

Please, check out there facebook page.(https://www.facebook.com/sponsoredwhips) and spam them. They are scamming many people and it needs to stop.

Spread this around on your FB, Twitter, and all of your friends.

They often offer wheel and tire packages, which is what I was most interested in with them. But turns out they just want the $199.99 in a money order and leave me high and dry like the rest of the people who have fallen for it.

Sorry...but, you think that there is a chance that a company would, over the internet, just send you free expensive shit in the mail because you say that you have a car that you show/drive that will give enough exposure to pay for the said free shit?

This is why Nigerians have nice things.

It does happen. I have been 100% sponsored for a lot of parts in the past so it was worth the try.

Just throwing the info out there for other people to see so they dont waste there time.

This is how it works. You apply to the company, give them the run down of the car, events you intend to be part of ect and they approve or deny.

This company is doing the same thing as I have seen and dealt with before. The difference is they request $200 in a money order to get started with them and then provide nothing.
A 100% sponsorship is rare, often time you just get good deals that the average joe would not get. I was hoping for something more like that.
I have no issue with rocking a decal or whatever for a huge discount in quality parts.

If you click on their "Client Image Gallery" on their website, there's a picture of a Mazda infront of Science World, anyone's car here? LOL
