Fuel Drum Storage Location

Hi folks, a friend and I are looking to drop ship two 55 gallon drums of performance fuel, and we're having a heck of a time finding somewhere to store it. We both live in apartments, and have had no luck finding any alternative places to put it. I've phoned a few local shops but without success yet. We're willing to compensate for the storage of course, and would only need to access it once or twice a month. Any ideas or places you guys might suggest? Thanks as always.

I assume you can't store fuel in public storage. Or corrosive shit etc.

How much would compensation be? I have a free space in the corner of my garage... Provided the drums are properly sealed oc.

Or even better... build a storage facility beneath a laundry mat, you know, just for storing stuff.

Haha, I'm all for going Walter White, but hoping for a less extreme solution

I wasn't serious about compensation, if i have the space you could just use it for no charge... I'll get back to you.

I don't think I'd be so excited to have drums of fuel in my garage that aren't even mine.

Well, if someone has the strength or dedication to steal a full 55 gallon drum, they probably have earned it

I'd definitely consider a commercial location, and I'm happy to compensate for the privilege, the important thing is just having somewhere to put it.

Somewhat related to this: Anyone know where can I dispose of empty race fuel drums? I have two 5L VP fuel drums that have been sitting in my patio for months. I have no clue where I can legally dispose of these things.

Since they are the small buggers can't you just go dispose of them where like paint cans and stuff are disposed at the dump?

I think he meant 5 gallons, I don't believe VP sells 5 litres.
