what has been seen, cannot be unseen.

we all start off the same, and like travelling in space, the slightest divergence in your course will result in a drastically different destination. we all specialize in some area, and the deeper you go into that area, the less others will be able to relate. Only others who are there with you can understand, the rest are still straggling on their own course, wherever they are heading.

4 children grow up together, one chooses to specialise in taekwondo, one chooses to specialize in biochemistry, one chooses to be a monk, another chooses to specialize in finance. is it really surprising none of them see eye to eye 30 years later?

over time, everyone becomes extreme versions of who they were. their patterns of thinking become more and more extreme, eventually representing who they really are.

i would be scared if i didn't change from 12 years ago, i was 18. lol. people that don't change... they've either reached the pinnacle of their lives already, or stopped learning things outside their area of interest.

fyi i didnt watch the video. lol.

i agree that ones path taken can be different on the surface, but the maxims of life they will uncover should be conjoining rather than diverging them in the end.

universal laws such as that of Relativity, are common in all Extreme's of life. the applications may vary, but the high level idealogies are all the same

second point in general, not directed to Ulic specifically:
regarding conspiracy theories (or whatever name we should use, as the word conspiracy already carries many undertones) they are interesting up to an extent. just dont get too caught up in it. it is a trail that has no real end point. unless you are, actually working for the CIA or FBI, what are you really going to accomplish? yes, expanding human consciousness around any subject is important i agree. There may be some pockets of truth but they are covered in a litter of stretched ideas/thoughts. And who can we turn to verify any of this? No one really (less you have access to government classifieds). Its not a science where we can go to the lab and test it out

in the end, it makes for good shooting of the shit. but thats about it. there are plenty more constructive things to do that will add value to your life

As with all ideas different from societies norm, they will be mocked and ridiculed. You guys poke at alpha and CiC but at the end of the day they're laughing at you because of your close mindedness. Yes some theories seem really far fetched, but hey a good story is a good story right?

I believe in the principle that even the greatest lie in the world contains at least a grain of truth, no matter how small. My mind isn't as shut as people like CIC, +theone+ and possibly Alpha here thinks. I'm actually quite open to different interpretations of different events. However, where I think I differ from some of these members is that I've actually worked in the broadcasting media before and have great experience putting together documentaries. I know exactly how to edit a video to make it seem like Titanic was actually designed to be a Nazi propaganda film that included Steven Spielberg's ET. I know how information can be taken out of context or how data can be skewed and made to seem like that's what truly was there. As a result of this, I don't just accept everything I see as fact, regardless of if it's on Fox, CNN, BBC, RT, or PressTV. I try and tackle things from all angles by watching the full interviews or reading the full reports where clips have been taken from.

There's one thing that's struck me over the years that some of these guys don't seem to get: For all their bitching and moaning about how "mainstream media" likes to cover up facts and pull the wool over our eyes, these so-called conspiracy theorists do the exact same thing. If information doesn't help their cause, they ignore it or say "it's been tampered with" or "isn't reliable." Yet they'll have no qualms with using the same data if it helps their cause.

The irony in that is that these whack jobs are more close minded than anyone. They absolutely refuse all evidence, unless it supports their view. A normal person will look at all arguments with skepticism, then with an open mind, decide what they believe to be true.

The nut jobs are just part of an eternal circle jerk that just feels too good to get out of. Or they have some sort of damaged way of thinking, whether pre existing or self inflicted.

"you're following it to a T.... your playing your part good, and never gone stopped and thinked"
Skimming through the video this guys says some good things.

There maybe many people who are distracted to say the least... but the kind of person that suffers "Stockholm" syndrome has to be the worse.

Here is a thread full of these people who went out of their way discredit what shows the Pentagon with no plane wreckage, yet these people believe webcam footage of a streak to be proof of a plane crash because their masters say so on television.
http://www.revscene.net/forums/68391...-11-video.html

Who knows what level of uncovered (main stream media) truths need to be explained to them for things to click in... if they're not going to go out of their way to learn who the real backers of WW1 and WWII are, perhaps something like future uncovering in the mysterious deaths of Lady Diana and Marilyn Monroe will clue them in.

BINGO!

And you'll notice how all these guys SAY that you should "think for yourself" when what they really mean is, "you should think like me."

I'm sorry, I have "thought for myself", and I've come to conclusion you're full of shit. (er... not you, Lomac)

This video does a good job of explaining conspiracy theorerists and why I tend to believe Alpha at his word for not being on drugs or crazy.

The entire series is worth a look

ZOMG!!!!111 It's a video on the Internet so it must be real. Of course, it being on YouTube provides it with even more credence.

As interesting as it is to have shit like that to be real, it isn't. Sorry. Even the majority of "viral" videos on the Internet spreading around these days are fake.

so TLDR: someone predicts end of the world?

how many guys have done that and failed. NOt a single one has any scientific knowledge or fact to base it on. ok, sure. that will make you credible.

I predict every single man, woman and child on earth will die...

just not all at once
