This lack of snow has gotten ridiculous. I went up to Chilliwack Lake the other day to bomb around in the 4r and do a little hiking and there's pretty much a thin layer of ice over everything but no snow to be seen. Decided to go out to Cypress on Sunday then to do some snowshoeing with friends and I can tell you that it was a horrible failure. The upper trails seemed to be closed and many of the lower trails that were open almost all had patches of no snow at all. Awful. Spent like 2 hours just sitting around drinking at Hollyburn Lodge drinking beer instead. Not a total loss, I guess.   ... mudshoeing adventures at Cypress

me and the gf and her sister/fiancé took a trip to stave lake to do some target shooting and to go for a drive.  
not much, but I don't get out often lol

The bottom three are all on Chilliwack Lake Rd at http://goo.gl/maps/n2u70 and the others are at random spots on forestry roads further out the Chilliwack River Valley, sorry, I guess I didn't actually explain today's trip very well.

With the exception of all the dead spots in my basement suite, I haven't really gotten out of cell reception in ages so when some friends expressed an interest in getting out yesterday I hopped at the opportunity to get out. Went up Slesse Creek and threw around some lead, cooked some sausages, made some smores and generally relaxed. Pretty much perfect summer solstice.

went camping along the eastern shore of lillooet lake 
the site is called "driftwood bay"
should be accessible by any stock cuv/suv. with a stock height car you'd be able to make it but would want to drive slow on the road in.

I had no brackets for it, just the little stud mounts it came with... was looking for somewhere good to put it. Works great in that spot!
