You're right, not "everyone" is is saying "it's a must-watch".... However a lot of people are. Bellator actually does good ratings considering. We can laugh at it because it's so goofy, but for most people, there's little difference between MMA and pro wrestling... For these people, the only difference is one has predetermined outcomes...

And now Bellator is going back the original Japanese MMA route, of being promoted more similarly to pro wrestling... It looks silly but people love it. You have to realize that the 'hardcore' fan is really the minority, especially in America.

his chin may be suspect, but everytime he gets KOed its from something that would probably KO anyone not named nelson or hunt. behind the ear, front kick to the chops, bigfoot's barrage... and back in pride he took some brutal abuse too from Sergei and Chuck, etc.

His hunched over leaning forward prodding forward style is just very susceptible to taking big shots. it worked in K1 because he would just cover up and take the shots on his gloves and arms and then overpower his opponent, but it isnt working in MMA when every punch from a 240lb guy with heavy hands is a goodnight punch.


Arlovski took 3 brutal KOes in 4 losses in a row so bad everyone thought his career was done, and bounced back and hasnt been KOed in like 10 fights including one where Anthony Johnson couldnt even get it done. There might be some hope for Overeem..
