It depends on how and who installed it. If it was installed by a good installer it should be as easy as pulling the two piggyback fuses, re-intalling the fuses in their location, and then pulling all the wires out from wherever they were tucked to get them to the camera mounting point.

Yup should be just remove lower dash panel for fusebox, pull out the 2 add-a-fuses, put back required fuses then remove rest of wiring.

I went through the a-pillar which pops out with a flathead.

Having a little trouble with mine lately...Seems like parking mode no longer functions. I have the Blackvue 380G and the Power Magic Pro. The camera seems to turn off immediately after turning the car off. I've already set the Power Magic Pro to 11.8v. Any ideas?

I am having difficulty with the power magic pro as well..

A couple of days ago one of the fuses blew. I replaced it and now the dash camera won't turn off, even when the power magic pro switch is off and the LED is not on...the camera stays on.
The camera itself records fine, just won't turn off when the car is off.

I've tried swapping out the fuse location its plugged into on the fuse box but still the same issue. Swapped the fuses around as well.

Anyone have any ideas to its cause?
is the power magic pro broken?

The IC that senses the voltage is probably dead. The easiest is just get warranty service on it.

whats an IC?

I assume this is something internal to the power magic pro?
Also the camera stays on though, and works fine, so if there was a voltage issue, would it not turn on at all?

Its been over 1 year, so don't think it can be warrantied.

thanks

So whats the best one out there in most peoples opinions?? I have a another question also, can you can like a black strip sort of thing on your windshield to conceal your camera somewhat from the front of your vehicle? I noticed a few BMW's that have it.

I haven't got one yet but I was thinking the same thing, if I was to tint a strip at top of the windshield for a cam to be concealed how much many inches is allowed to be tinted?

Vicovation New series Dashcam: FUll HD, XFHD, Dual Full HD. All of 3 dashcams can use CPL lens and GPS. Marcus 1 and 3 will be launch at the end of Febuary 2014. I love the Marcus 3 most because of the sharp and amazing day/night footage. However, Marcus 3 do have some requirements to computer video card and monitor. If you do have a 4k2k monitor, you can try the footages on the monitor. It is so smooth.

Marcus 1 Full HD with GPS and little LCD screen without internal battery.
It is a micro size Vico-tf2/sf2
VicoVation???

XFHD Marcus 3: 2304x 1296P resolution. I saw the sample extreme quality video footage already. The camera suppports 1296 @ 30 fps, 1080 @ 60 fps. It is just amazing feature on Vico-Marcus 3.
VicoVation???

Marcus 5 dual FHD cams will be launch at the end of March 2014.

From the meesage, I can tell the coneection of yellow and red wire are connected properly. Also the camera is running well. Resetting the power magic pro is unplug the white cable at the back of PMP.
Please try that and see what is going on.

Seems the switch is something wrong or the connection of the switch joint is always connected.

1. Please sending a email to Blackvue Sales Manager Joey Won and telling him what is the issue of your power magic pro. He can help you out and he will quote you the charge.
his email is Wonyi@pittasoft.com

Since your power magic pro is expired on the warranty, I recommend just buy a new one from Lukas to replace the power magic pro because the shipping fee is not worth to fix the pmp.

I've tried unplugging the white wire, and the fuses, but still to no success.
I think you are correct in assuming that there is a problem with the PMP switch.

I emailed Joey won and will see what he says.

Also can you PM me a link to buy a new PMP from lukas

thanks

Here is the Lukas power magic cable which is same DC 3.5mm 12v plug. It looks smaller than power magic pro. Or you can try LukasHD.com official store for more.
