I recently picked up a wheelchair and removed the wheels. I have to use the seatbelt and walk bent over at a 45 degree angle, but its so fucking cutting edge.

bumping an old thread but have anyone order their glasses frame from clearly contacts and what's your experience?

Is time to get a new pair and clearly contacts seems really cheap on frames. I am not sure if I can get my lens local and have the shop install them on frames I got elsewhere. My eyesight are pretty bad so I need to use these special lens (not the cheap ones clearly contacts use) which cost over $300 just for the lens. Trying to save some money by getting a cheaper frame online.

The frames are cheap, as in, they meet the bare minimum when it comes to quality and standards. I would go as far as to say that fit will be sub-par as well.

If you have expensive lenses, I would not pair them up with a set of cheap frames. On the other hand, some people just don't seem to care and live with what they have from Clearly Contacts (nothing wrong with that.)

Clearly is pretty expensive now. I had a good experience with them when their offer was first frame was like $15 or something. They were shipped within the week and i loved the frames... They were my fave til i lost em.

Now i use ZenniOptical.. From the states. They have a whole selection of frames that are 6.95 USD w/ single vision lens included. My first order i got 4 pairs..incl shipping it was like $55USD. Shipped in about a week and a half and they included the cases and lens cleaner cloths. I recommended it to my boss at my old work and he has bifocals. He was able to get 2 pairs for about $220USD w bifocal lens. Still he said it was reasonable cuz normally 1 pair here would be $400+.
Maybe try Zenni and subtotal it and see if youd save some $?

I recommend ZenniOptical for any single vision people. Saves a ton of money!

Most places are like that but unfortunately low priced lenses are only for like under 2.00 power. Being at 5.00,

I just priced out a pair for my mom, pretty decent pricing, plus since she's behind a computer all day I can get her the Blue UV blocking lens as well.

Did you have it shipped to a US parcel place, like 5D?
