Just picturing all those fob Asian girls rolling around in Richmond with these

Mr.Stubbz 02-28-2014 12:07 PM

not digging those rear vents but i quite like the interiors of lexus these days, modern with the digital gauge cluster, touchpads and all but a sense of analog-y simpleness with the center stack. i sat in one last year or so and damn, them seats are comfy yet supportive as fuck :fuckyea:

Totally agree. There's something distinctly Japanese about their new interiors and it's a nice departure from the recent gravitation towards swoopy curvy interiors with out of place nav screens.

Learned to love those grills. At first I was really weirded out by them..but I just love them now. I swear they all look better in person though. You gotta stand there and check it out...but ahh, so sexyyy.

skiiipi 03-02-2014 06:58 AM

damn this will be a tough choice between the RC350 FSport and the 435i
will have to drive both i guess....the 6speed manual transmission in the BMW will probably sway me...but the lexus interior and reliability.....

StylinRed 03-29-2014 05:27 PM

just a quip

was disappointed that this isnt at the auto show, but i was talking to one of the lexus guys there and fwiw he said they're not expecting it to show until the end of November -_- (Nov 20 something)

lame

Any news on pricing yet?

GotRice? 09-04-2014 09:24 PM

in the video it says $63,325usd for base RCF... and base RC350 starts $43,715usd...

The dealerships have been taking preorders for a bit now

I'm surprised at the pricing especially for the RCF

I saw the UK pricing numbers last week and thought it was going to be insane here as well
the RCF costs £59,995 over there and £67,995 for the carbon package which is $106,470 - $120,700

I wonder how much Lexus Canada is going to markup the cars

All the reviews seem to be extremely positive has me a bit :suspicious: but also excited :D

BBMme 09-05-2014 10:02 AM

Auto blog has a pretty good review on the rcf. Nice looking car

nsx042003 09-05-2014 10:09 AM

It's a low price point at $63,325 USD, in the US, relatively speaking when compared to other competing cars.

Add 10% for Canadian pricing and it will be around $69,000 to $70,000 CDN.

The M4 is $64,100USD base and the RS5 is $70,000 USD base in the US
OR
$75,000 CDN base and $82,900 CDN base in Canada.

So, $63,325 USD for the RCF is a good price point (again, relatively speaking in this segment) in the US.

Like:
I like that the engine is NA, even though other comparable cars are going turbo/supercharged (BMW, Audi next gen).

The in-cabin sound, in the video, sounds just like the RS5 probably due to the NA engine.

This car looks like a winner, but I still need to get used to the front end spindle grill.

nns 09-05-2014 09:08 PM

One thing I don't like is the beluga whale front-heavy hood.

GotRice? 09-06-2014 12:02 AM

the only thing i don't like is the weight... like previous ISF this thing is heavy and even with that much power, it is still 200lbs (base RCF) heavier than the M4 ... adding the performance package which comes with CF roof, CF spoiler, aluminum hood and the heavy torque vectoring diff don't really save that much weight either, it still adds extra 50lbs on top of the 200lb extra weight over the M4... i can't wait to see the head 2 head comparison between the 2 cars though...

thumper 09-08-2014 06:57 AM

another review...
