starting in Canada @ $54,000 for the AWD, $57,050 RWD, $57,150 AWD F-Sport

that's a bit much imo... considering you can almost get the RCF at that price in the states

Saw one on road in Taiwan yesterday. It actually doesn't look bad in person.

And it looks a bit bigger in person too. But that can be an illusion given the tight streets in TW.

2015 Lexus RC 350 Priced From $54,000, Includes All-Wheel Drive - Autos.ca

The base prices you described is a tiny bit too much, but it's V6 (don't think there is a 4 cylinder option for the RC, not sure).

On the other hand, you can get a S5 base, at $57,000, only $3,000 more.

The 0-60 is manufacturer rated at 5.5 secs for the Lexus.
The 0-60 for the manufacturer rated is 5.0 secs for the S5.

So, all in all, IMO, it is a little bit over-priced.

The RC looks like it's more of a competition for the S5 and 435i than for the A5 or the 428i.

i don't follow euro stuff that closely anymore but isn't the current S5 fairly bombproof? the few things i remember from the past was something wrong with the water pump and the early MMI was junk.

so... the RCF after Freight & PDI is starting @ $82,895CAD but in the US it's starting @ $62,400USD (i wonder if the US site considers the RC Fsport as the RCF too...)

Future Models | Automobiles | Lexus

2015 Lexus RC F - Performance Sedan | Lexus.com

also looks like top gear took out the RCF http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/lex...ack-2014-10-16 <<only a gallery is available though

Looks like the new RC-F is a generation behind its competitors. Most manufacturers in this segment are dropping weight while Lexus has increased the weight by nearly 200 pounds from the ISF.

I want to see the Infrared in person, the paint job sounds interesting

a base coat of silver, a coat of clear, a coat of red, and a coat of clear

looks great in pics but all the pics seems wildly different

as for the performance a bit disappointing but also surprising how close it is given all that extra weight 400+lbs (depending on the options +50lbs for the electric differential) that's like having 4 asian chicks as passengers, or 2 larger guys

Lexus is going to unveil a new 'concept' at the LA auto show on Wednesday called the LF-C2 which everyone is saying is simply an RC Convertible

Future Models | Automobiles | Lexus

this is the silhouette

If its a hardtop convertible RC then...damn that's going to be one heavy ride but i'd be sold
