usually with these type of things, there has been a past with the person bullying you. and its her way of compensating for her struggles in the past and now feels superior.

if i were you, build up a case. put all your documents together, a timeline. straight up and go talk to her and tell her you have a case built up and tell her to stop. because you 2 are co-workers, try to work it out at your level first. if not, you will escalate, and it won't be fun for either of you 2. if that happens again, document it and go to your supervisor. if no actions are taken, document it again, and keep going higher up. the last resort should be HR.

by the time, and if it does, it hits HR and they do nothing, tell them that you will be filing papers with worksafe bc. make sure that you have followed all appropriate steps though as outlined with worksafe bc. might not be a bad idea to call and talk to someone there at the moment.

file papers with HR saying that you have filed papers with workesafe bc. not sure how they handle things, but might not be a bad idea to lawyer up.

it is a lengthy process and as stated by most, will you still be willing to work there after all this happens? some people just need to fight fire with fire

or you can go the easy way, find a job now. and on the day you quit, photoshop that bitch sucking some horse dick and plastor it all over the office. just make sure you keep smiling. just orally abuse the shit out of her and make up some rumors or some shit. can't stand people like that.

i for one commend you on standing up for this shit for 8 years before snapping, that takes patience and balls man. i like the idea of you strolling in with some hot chick and just prove all them assholes wrong. revenge is bitter sweet and served cold. ten fold at that.

edit: do momma jokes work on her? if she says you're gay again, tell her thats not what i showed your mom last night.

Take this seriously and they are forced to take you seriously. If you've ever goofed around and played along, so to speak, you lose credibility. They can just say they were joking and you were part of it. Sure, the line can be crossed eventually and there may be consequences (ahem Incognito) but if you've always shown that you don't approve of the behaviour, its bullying and cannot be viewed in any other manner.

what kind of fucked up company do you work for man.. 35 year old woman with 2 kids dogging on an employee lol. Why don't you stick it back to them? I assume it's not your personality. One thing I learned in my 24 years of living is it's a take take world it's not a give and take. If they do this to you and you do anything back it's just going to get worst.

Only hearing one side of it, there's all kinds of truth out there.

With that said, it sounds like you can prove a hostile work environment. A case for constructive dismissal may also be a possibility.

I've been lurking this thread for a while and don't know what to think.
This just reminds me of being bullied back in grade school...
Just reading about your situation makes me so angry.

You sure are a patient person.

I don't exactly know how it works in these office situations, but being patient and going through HR and documenting everything sounds like a good plan.

Tell HR, if they fuck around, tell worksafe and file lawsuit. keep records of all harassment and use record app on ur phone or something. You can also get back at them secretly if you want Find their address and number and post on craigslist in the "men seeking men" section, photoshop their face in gay porno pics. They gonna have to cancel their number . I will make their life living hell if it happened to me.

The supervisor being a female didn't even cross my mind. Given the situation I just assumed it was guy. I know in my line of work, although it's construction, dealing with a female is tricky cause anything can be used against you if said wrong. Call the female a bitch or something along those lines and it's instantly the mans fault. But if it's a male male conflict, call the guy a fucking asshole and knock him out if you want and nothing will be happen expect maybe a hatred or problem solved.

Don't use vulgar insults as she could claim workplace battery charges or something shit ridiculous like that. Keep your insults/comebacks clean and witty. Those ones always seem to be more effective anyway and can also be more humiliating in the end.

Just be stern and bold and don't back down. Find some dirt on her and try to expose her. She's a supervisor so she must have been there for some time. Has to be something or someone that she's done.

I have seen people PS'ing people onto pictures and stuff as a joke, but never to that degree. I mean thats not really joking anymore that's serious, and same if it ever goes past the people in your office. I mean its all fun and games in the office, but customers should never see that type of stuff.

Just build your case and go through the proper company procedures with HR. Meanwhile, consult with the worksafe too.

Since your co-worker is sending this stuff out to customers I say give HR a chat and hire a lawyer. I am sure if the CEO of your company finds out whoever send the e-mail out will get fire on the spot. It is giving the company a pretty bad image. Also this is way beyond work hrassment so getting a lawyer is a good idea.

Nothing anybody say or do should make you quit your job especially after 8 years.

Bring it to the higher up people and let them know. Make a big deal out of this. If you have hard evidence then you can probably sue the people involved and get something back. You probably don't want this job back since going back would be so awkward. I'm sure there are services in bc that deal with these kinda stuff.

As others have said, it's best to document everything and to be firm with her. Take the high road and don't resort to petty insults, photoshop schemes, etc. If she refuses to stop, then document it and take your case higher up. If there's no response, then file a claim with Worksafe. Just follow all of the steps and be prepared to never work in your industry again. You'll bounce back and become a stronger person as a result. Your dignity is worth more than your job.
