Took a drive up cypress today, such beautiful weather. Was completely shocked though, none of the runs were even completely covered...

is this the mini h1 retrofit? I just read about it and thinking of attempting it ...but i'm scared of messing up a set of 06 OEM headlights...i'd considering sending it in to get it done but can't afford downtime so probably just buy the premade ones :concentrate:

pics please if you're running quad high beams (2 oem + 2 bi-xenon)

Picked up yet another car, my first RWD, first Mazda, hell it's my first non-Celica (excluding the Jeep).

Do you use your block heater? If not is there a particular reason you don't tuck that wire back into your bumper?

Would look way better and probably prevent some scratches from the wire sliding around on the chin spoiler.

Oh fuck you're not going to believe this but the plug DOESN'T fit back through the grill, as in it's too big to go through the little openings in the grill. It's literally stuck dangling there. :(

donjalapeno 01-26-2014 08:46 PM

damn people already have summer setups on....so jelly.

LOLWUT?

Ford pulled the cable through the grill then terminated it?

If that is actually true then that's just absurd.

dared3vil0 01-26-2014 08:54 PM

I know, and yes that's exactly what happened. I will grab a video of it tmrw.

If you were referring to me, it is because I was installing my coilovers, and off course I am going to use my summer rims for height adjustment. and ya... after that, i kinda caved in and never installed the winters after lolol. Such bad example

Just remove it and cap the cord. In 12 years of driving, 8 of those being in Edmonton, I've never plugged in a car once. Even in -40 (as long as it isn't sitting for extended periods of time) any quality car will start and warm up just fine.

I have never actually used it but the idea of cutting a cord on a brand new car scares me lol.

I would cut it, and re-terminate, but I can see the hesitance to do so on a brand spanking new ride.

I would take off bumper , put on inside.

Had this on old car, luckily hole was big enough to just shove in.

Yeah i'm a bit hesitant, i'm considering snipping one of the honeycombs out of the grill as you can't even see the grill unless you are lying on the ground.
