...i'm guessing car companies spend too much money on auto designers and fail to hire a fine artist to draw their logos.

can you imagine the classic Camaro or mustang (whichever you prefer) that could be purchased for 250k?

1969 Shelby GT500 AND a Camaro SS AND a barn in Langley to store it all

I don't like it.

I don't get it. Why is it ok for some one off super car maker to build something for $500,000… Because if you want performance… You can just go out and buy a GTR, heck and a ZR1, and an Aerial Atom… and a… ? This is a one off car, I'm going to go ahead and make the presumption that it's of fairly high quality, and one of a kind. Personally I think it's pretty bad ass. The name is awful though.

Cool concept but for 250K you could restore and Pro Touring mod a real classic. Hell for that kind of money you could probably do two. 250K is way too much to be asking for this car. It's just a modern Eleanor without the soul.

I'd rather have an original anyway:

Except this is the "original" Eleanor:

Plus Eleanor is just a movie car; Ford never made a Mustang designed to look like either variant.

Technically they do… Kind of. There is a company, which I believe is the one I posted in the link below which recreates 1967"s mustang into look alike "Gone is 60 seconds" Eleanors, and Ford actually gives the vehicle a new VIN number.

The whole thing look like a kit car and those fog lights and driving lights look like they were bought off eBay.

Those wheels...are they ADR or American Racing?

personally i dont think its ok for some one off manufacturer to make a pricey ass car cus lets face it, if they're making special one offs of something that nobody has ever hear of, they dont really have the heritage or history to make it worth that much. and technically one off cars arent really meant for the "average" luxury/supercar buyer but really for more collectors or possible investors of said company.

also, with supercars people already have the mindset of high dollar value and six figure pricetags as a norm, but muscle cars are generally thought of as 5 figure price tags, high power and high fun but not as great build quality etc etc...

Timpo, that Mustang looks better than all those fake carbon fiber GTRs you love to post

mustang body with a zr1 motor and it costs twice as much as a zr1. logic.

MarkyMark 01-19-2014 04:56 PM

I love the look of it but the name and price blow that's for sure

I've never liked the remake's Eleanor. It looks like a riced out '67.

To each their own, I give you a lot more credibility than Timpo given the fact that you own a '68. Those that own said vehicles spend a lot more time looking at the car and its lines and usually have a pretty accurate reflection of what most people would consider good looking.

I personally think that eleanor looks great, then again having never seen a full replica done up correctly I only have pictures and the original movie to go off of, and obviously those mostly paint the car in that legendary sort of light.

if they wanted to put updated headlights and whatnot, they should've at least made it like this

I agree with timpo here, the 69 Mach 1 is truly a beautiful car in my eyes, so much more aggressively styled than the Eleanor

I think it's the rims that make it look cheap.
