To be fair to the new Eleanor, the one in the movie didn't have dubs. The one above is from a wheel company advert

Not hybrid blend muscle car related, but still muscle car related,
How do you guys feel about the whole pro touring muscle car scene/idea, like or dislike?

If you dont know what pro touring is, its essentially getting a older car and upgrading its suspension, chassis, electronics, driveline, interior etc to make it a more modern car. Is this sacrilegious to the muscle car tradition, or is it a step forward into keeping the classics on the road.

also, with supercars people already have the mindset of high dollar value and six figure pricetags as a norm, but muscle cars are generally thought of as 5 figure price tags, high power and high fun but not as great build quality etc etc...

And to boot, how the hell do those things get maintained? You're paying a shit tonne for a car with no support in a lot of cases.

I'm on the fence about these, since from what I've seen they still handle like shit. IMO unless the car is just a rolling chassis the only thing that should be upgraded would be the brakes.

I honestly don't mind but I would prefer to keep everything stock, it is a classic after all.
