Looking at their overhead @ $50,000 a month just for rent and the fact that they like to sell at online pricing, they have no choice but to change things.
If they can't keep any profit, they will lose more than employees. Making mistakes in the installation bays can cost lots of money, sometimes more than rent. They lost all of their junior guys to eliminate that. The next thing I see them doing it raising prices to cover their asses in the shop as well. They are at $100/hour for installation. Let' see what happens next.

lol last item I bought from BB was in bellingham, and I orderd online with in store pickup.. I had gotten 1000$ worth of gc's for 600$... ended up getting an alpine nav deck for 1200$(45% off) then even more savings due to gc purchase...
I was gonna buy it in canada, but the staff sucked ass I mena im standing looking at a couple 750$+ deck's and no ones coming to help for 10 minutes.... they had shitty service before. I can't imagine it now.. I rather buy off amazon.COM(not ca) as I got dual citizenship with a house in blaine

Whoa. They already made HUGE layoffs to their ConnectPro/Geek Squad in Jan.
To get rid of it all together? Whoa. I have quite a few friends that have been with the installation side for 10+ years. Would be sad if they did.
I know someone that got rehired on the ConnectPro side a few weeks ago.

I got word from one of my friends that they're just switching the name to GeekSquad. So ConnectPro is gone and GeekSquad is in. Same staff.
