These Micras are very light weighted...last one was 2100lb or something. Too bad they never come with turbo like the Toyota Starlet and Mitsu Colt |
I want to see it get destroyed in a small overlap crash test :troll: HR16DE turbo kits do exist, albeit difficult to find/not widely available... |
Hahaha, Thats cute it thinks its a car |
Honestly, I don't think the design is BAD, but there's something appealing about the generation before it. Car itself will probably drive like shit, so I think I'd take the Fiesta. The Mirage is on the same tier, and the Yaris hasn't changed much in terms of underpinnings since it first came out. |
this is a brand new car for people who dont give a shit about cars. i dig it. there are a lot worse designs on the road thats for sure. look at the neon, aztec, sunfire, cavalier, etc and there are so many that sold. this car is respectable imo, however, i would never consider one. |
style wise it dosen't look that bad, does it? especially when compared to a mitsubishi mirage? (on a side note: i hate what they did to the mirage... i can still remember back in the late 80's-90's when mirages/colts were little turbocharged monsters, and now they have reduced it to a 3-cylinder POS :( ) |
Beats riding the bus. Lease rate probably cheaper than monthly bus pass. |

it'll be good for people who need a vehicle to get around for cheap |
Anything beats taking the bus! |
Students and people who are on a budget.... |

People who think of cars as appliances won't care about the number of cylinders but they will be swayed by a longer warranty. Having said that, I think there will be a surprising number of non-enthusiasts that will buy the Micra. |

I can dig it. For cheap transportation, good on gas, full warranty it's pretty hard to beat. Of course it will be cheaply built but get the fuck over it; it's under $10k for fuck sakes. Having said that, there are other cars that start at $25k that can be had for half that in 2 years. "How much does the factory warranty mean to you?" is the question. This vehicle will be perfect for the "payment sensitive" folks out there that just want to get from A to B without issue. |
I rented the Nissan March in Japan last fall and it was a decent car. I wasn't super fast but it was fast enough. I was pleasantly surprised by how good of a car it was. It was good on gas and handled fine. |
definitely the car for my kid when he gets his driver license. |

Autoblog.ca reports that the Versa will no longer be sold in Canada now that the Micra is available. Makes sense, pricing is too close. |

Nissan was offering an additional $1500 on trade-in for 2009 Versas plus an additional $1000 from the dealership we bought it from, so my GF wanted to check the new ones out as it would've been a cheap switch and a good way to negate 120,000 km. GF hated it, though. Much smaller, worse vision, less power, 5-speed instead of 6-speed, seats were not nearly as comfortable, and a few other things. There were a few good things about it, but she felt that it was a downgrade overall. We also drove the Sentra, which I liked, but GF didn't like the lack of space/lack of utility. She carts around a lot of stuff for art shows and such. |

And also a massive rear seating area  |

despite the way it looks, Juke is a sharp driving car. Micra isnt exactly good looking, but is a great little car for payment shoppers... Im sure leasing monthly payment would be around the same as a bus pass.... |
