Micra S:

Auto - $13298 plus freight (can't add AC, power, etc. individually)

Test drove one the first day it arrived. Drives pretty good for a sub-compact except the steering is a tad light for my liking.

Wanted to get the base $9998 model but was told it won't arrive for another month and they're all reserved. The higher models aren't as good as a deal compared to the barebone base model and there's no (or very little) discounts. Decided to get something else.

Fuel Consumption Testing | Natural Resources Canada

New Test Methods for Model Year 2015
Starting with 2015 model year vehicles, manufacturers will use an improved testing procedure to determine the fuel consumption ratings of new light-duty vehicles. The Government of Canada approved new test methods better approximate typical driving conditions and styles by adjusting city and highway ratings to account for air conditioner usage, cold temperature operation and driving at higher speeds with more rapid acceleration and braking. These new test methods (5-cycle testing) result in higher fuel consumption ratings that are more representative of a vehicle’s on-road fuel consumption compared to the current (2-cycle testing) methodology.
Versa is still a 2014 model year and utilizes the older, less realistic testing methods in its advertised fuel economy numbers. You should see numbers that are more in line with the advertised figures in the US.
