How's shadow play, have you tried it for recording? Apparently its the best way to record dayZ but you need an Nvidia

Yea lol... It's ridiculous how taxing the game is atm.
I haven't tried shadow play because I'm using dxtory.

You should try Shadow Play.

JamJamz uses it and I think Frankie also uses it.

I'll try it later today, just to see if the file sizes are smaller. But with dxtory it's a lot more customizable and the file sizes are ridiculously good for the amount of recording time.

Finally figured out how to edit videos quick... Here's our last kill.. I have a SHIT load of footage though lol



BTW CRS if u use freemake vid convertor you don't have to render the entire video.. just cut really fast and export in HD.. took me like 5 min with a 2 hour video

the random bambi
the dude that tried to kill TOS'd
the first dude we ran into that Nick killed
the three random guys that ran by us when we were above solichney, talking on mic plotting something that me and TOS'd killed

Sigh.. stupid skills exams got me missing out on the fun.

So I tried shadowplay and it doesn't seem as clear as dxtory. And this is on the highest setting.

ive shared this video a ton of times with CRS/NMA/etc


this is the same dude that used to game with frankieonPC and this is the same way frankieonPC records it.

The main thing that attracted to me to shadowplay was that there's little or no drop in performance when using it

That's the video that actually got me using dxtory LOL. I use virtual audio cable like jackfrags does too, so I can cut out the teamspeak chat if I want to.
Yea when I tried shadowplay it didn't touch my fps, but dxtory and OBS are the same. The only program for me that really hit me was FRAPS but that might've been because of my previous build.

A pretty good dayz song!

is there a way to record a game footage WITH fps embedded? it seems like most software just displays the fps on ur monitor only
