I can't seem to build a good coil that won't burn after 2 second hits on the rda of the subtank for some reason.. The flavour and smoke is really good on the tanks, but still uncomparable to the drippers :/ I'm also pretty sure I don't have a good enough tank, but even the pricer Smok tanks that I've tried can't compare. Still tempted to try, but meh idk. Right now I'm just running simple dual twisted 0.23ohm coils on my Mutation x v3 dripper, also tried the clapton coils and they're great.
The Subtank is pretty entry level, imo. The Herakles and Arctic tank are waaay better for that price range. Also, the rba decks on tanks all suck and won't compare to rta's and rda's.

I think my next pickup will be the aromamizer rta. Tank convenience, rda performance (or closest to), and no more buying coils

On another note, does anyone have any tips to do good rings? I can do rings okay ish, just not able to do clear rings that shoot far. My rings don't really shoot far and aren't defined, always has a shit ton of random clouds beside them >_>
I learned how to do mine just from practice... you can watch as many videos as you want but it just comes down to trial and error, because everyone's mouth shapes are different. The only tip I have is fill your mouth with as much vapor as you can before blowing the ring.

Me blowing a smoke ring onto milady's finger unfortunately the angle doesn't show the ring too well.

I can come by and tinker with different builds on your subtank deck if you have free time, I dont see why it would dry hit during 2 second pulls though...

I think I pull too much vapor from my dripper, I find that if I have too much smoke its just a mess of clouds LOL. Too little smoke and no ring of course, kinda have to find a good balance? But even with a good balance it's a weak ring lolol, it has good shape but not.. dense enough or something

Sold my subox hahah, down to learn how to build more complicated coils though like a clapton or something if you know how. All I know is twisted and parallel coils other than the simple one, and my parallel builds suck ass becauuse there's no flavour or clouds >_>

I think we talked about this a few pages back haha. The tfv4 chugs juice fast as shit. You'll be filling a lot with the mini, but if size is your concern, then there's no way around that.

Like mentioned above, the Herakles plus is actually reeeeally nice.

tfv4 wins in cloud production
herakles wins in flavor. still big clouds, just not as big as the tfv4.

Btw Aromamizer on sale for $20 on vapenw! Might even be discounted more on boxing day... but I didn't want to risk them selling out. Also. Impatient.

What the eff. Just tried clapton coils on my tfv4 and it makes your juice taste different!

It kinda mutes your fruity flavors, but it seems like it enhances dessert flavors

^Check out vapenw. Most boxes aren't even worth selling/buying second hand anymore. You can get a 100w mod for $34 and a 200w mod for $45. Our exchange rate is shit right now, but that's still way cheaper than anywhere local.

Thanks for the tip PJ! Looks like I will be placing an order through vapenw. Do you usually get it shipped to a box in point Roberts and pick up? Or do you know if I'll get dinged with extra charges being shipped to my home address?

If the value is under a certain amount, you won't get dinged with extra charges. Shipping is $10 to Canada I believe.

I spent around $75 USD on some stuff from there a couple months back, didn't have to pay any customs charges but YMMV...

I just get it shipped to my door. VapeNW has some security thing where they will only ship to whatever address is associated with your credit card. Aside from that, the $3 pickup charge from Point Roberts comes to $5 ish due to our bad exchange right now, so for the sake of saving yourself some time and a trip, getting it shipped to your door is probably a better option anyway. Never been dinged with extra charges, and I've ordered from them a handful of times, always shipped to my door.

Just don't order any juice and/or batteries, as that can cause you some trouble with customs. Not worth the couple bucks you save.

Dammit PJ, I look at Vape NW and they're having a sale. I pulled the trigger on the Smok Treebox. Firing the kbox at max wattage was wearing thin.
