I use Samsungs and Imrens. Never had a problem.

In terms of tanks, the 2 that I use the most are my tfv4 and arctic. But now that I have my aromamizer, that's kind of all I've been using.

Spaceship_coupe 01-13-2016 12:14 AM

For batteries, I'd recommend the green Samsung 25r as they have a better cycle compared to the old blue wrapped ones. These are high drain and are 2500 mah. Another similar one is the LG HE4 in the yellow wrapper.

Samsung also has a new medium drain battery which is the 30Q in the pink wrap and they offer 15 amp continuous drain with a 3000 mah rating. The LG HG2 is a 20 amp battery with a 3000 mah rating and is probably the battery everyone wants. They are hard to find now as there has been some production issues from what I've read.

I have some Sanyo NCR18650GA coming in a few weeks from FastTech and these are low drain at 10 amp but with 3500 mah. Two of these should last me a day in my evic mini with my SS temp build. I decided to go with these as my current tank builds peak at a 7 amp discharge and level off around 5.5-6 amps while vaping.

Always plan ahead with batteries and buy authentic brands. There are several sites that show quick tell tale signs between authentic and fake. Be safe and enjoy vaping.

Best 18650 battery's right now are the brown Samsung ones also known as turds.

I rock those plus the blue/green Samsung 25R

has anyone used or know anything about the red wrapped LG batterys?

PJ 01-13-2016 06:09 AM

^Yeah, I find the turds work the best on regulated. I'm so glad the smurfs and pink ones got phased out. They were so bad I actually felt the need to exchange them.

no problems with the smurfs for me. they were awesome and were the best available at one point.

debating if I should trade my smok xcube 2 for a rx200 hmmm lol

I love the way the xcube looks but you can't beat performance with the rx200 right now.

fuck I might just get both + a cricket for my stealth vape lol

PJ 01-13-2016 06:19 AM

I've been eyeing the rx200 for a while too. I just can't get over the size yet lol. I'd only use it strictly for battery life, but then I'm beginning to talk myself into just carrying another set of batteries for longer days on the go.

Been using the xcube2 as well, and using vtc mini as my stealth vape. No real complaints other than me just wanting to play with new toys :joy:

kchan 01-13-2016 08:17 AM

my xcube2 should arrive in the mail this week... so tempted for the cuboid for size factor but been reading that its heavy af?

Definitely on the heavy side.. But the way I see it, most dual 18650 mods aren't gonna be the lightest anyway. Unfortunately with that logic... that makes me wrestle with the idea of getting the rx200 because if I'm gonna be carrying a big mod around anyway... might as well go for the monster...?

That's why I have a single battery mod and a bigger power mod.. The smaller one for quick trips or a night out on the town, and the bigger one for a long day at work, long drives, being at home or a friend's place... basically times where I'm not moving around a lot to have to carry a friggin brick around.

Gucci Mane 01-13-2016 09:57 AM

^ yup. i've been eyeing up that rx200 as well simply for the battery life alone. i was considering getting the cuboid but that rx200 is getting good reviews and couple guys on youtube have voted it their best regulated mod of 2015. rx200 + herakles plus should be a pretty winning combo.

I've had the RX200 for a few weeks now and I don't have much negative to say about it other than it being not pocket friendly. It is on the heavy side but the performance for the dollar it's just amazing. It ended up being a costly mod because I had to buy 6 batteries. Two sets to marry and I wanted an extra set to be ready once the first needed recharging.

Vansterdam 01-13-2016 04:56 PM

im rocking a smpl mod with a derringer rda for my super portable/stealth vape

the cricket would go perfect with it for dual 18650s . i love the feel of it its so small

my ADV is the smok x cube 2 with velocity that I take out and will prob get a Griffin RTA to swap out

prob get the rx200 for home use or for long trips only lol

Using my Evic mini w/ Griffin RTA @ 50-60 watts or with my sigelei for higher wattage, flavour is good, had to make a couple adjustments of the cotton (less is more).

Any shops carrying Bombies juice locally?

the Ohm depot had a few months ago when I went.

anyone here vape 0 nic?

most people i know vape 3mg nic lol

what do you guys vape?

PJ 01-14-2016 07:49 AM

I vape 0, 3, and 6 depending on the occasion.

If I'm at home chain vaping I usually do 0 or 3.

Sometimes when I'm out I'll vape 6, just so I get a bit of a harsher throat hit. Also I take smaller mouth-to-lung hits with 6, so I'm not drawing attention by looking like a fog machine, while still getting my vape/nic fix.

koukimonst3r 01-14-2016 07:57 AM

Finally upgrading from Subox Mini to RX200. I usually vape 3mg, and if it doesn't satisfy my craving, I switch it up to 6mg.

Spaceship_coupe 01-14-2016 12:51 PM

For the RX200 owners, there's a new firmware update where it allows you to dial in the TCR setting. Pretty much allowing the user to use any type of wire. I updated mine this morning and the SS setting is set for 316 stainless. This new update makes it an evic mini on steroids.

where are you buying yours from? vapenw is selling them at a decent price right now. i'm going to need everything at this point, herakles tank, the mod, 3 batteries and a charger.

Buying them later tonight through VapeNW, Herakles plus and RX200 both in black. The batteries I'd probably just buy locally, was talking to Vansterdam earlier about it lol.

I have the efest luc v4 charger and it has performed flawlessly. I also have a nitecore d4 as a backup. I can let the d4 go for cheap, feel free to shoot me an offer. Just a heads up, the d4 only charges at 375 mah when you have 3 or 4 bays in use. When charging 1 or 2 batteries it charges at 750 mah.

PJ 01-14-2016 03:12 PM

I have an efest charger as well. Never had any issues.
But yeah. Buy batteries locally.

if you dont mind waiting like 2-3+ weeks for shipping you could just order the charger from fasttech lol cheapest place I found when I ordered mine

might need to get an extra set of batteries if you guys are heavy vapors.

even with 2 batterys it takes me like 5 hours to charge mine from dead on my nitecore

if you wanna ball out on a charger get the Efest LUC Blu6, that shit has bluetooth and you can download a app on your phone to monitor the batterys while they charge haha
