No idea why they say up to 60w on the box. |
Taste suck with the new vertical coils. But for me they last much longer than horizontal coils. |
The evic vtc mini is on sale at fast tech for $38.50 USD shipped with coupon MAP. Good value for a temp control device with firmware upgrade to 75W. |

tempting lol |
EDIT: found a box mod. |
if your a fan of the pineapple express, you gotta try out the Decoded - Atlantis also by Premium labs. soooo goood |
I find their Decoded line waaaaaaay too strong. It smells and tastes good and all, but after a few hits, I don't want anymore of that flavor for a day or two. The only ones I can vape throughout the day are the mini donuts one and the cucumber strawberry one. |
funny you say that I got the mini donut one also as a sample and its way to sweet for my liking. taste like pure cinnamon almost lol |
Haha different tastes I guess. Does anyone feel like they're getting "bored" of vaping? Don't get me wrong, I love it and I vape all day every day. But there are times when it feels like I'm just doing it out of habit rather than enjoyment. Maybe I just need some new flavors or switch up my tanks/builds |

I just read a few stories online of people's vapes exploding in their hands or in their faces while using them and even while they're charging and I'm a little freaked out now. Lol. The explosions always seem to be blamed on the batteries. |
they probably didn't marry the batteries. battery safety is very important |

it happens most often when a hybrid mod is used with a tank that's not right for it. https://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_...gerous_to_use/ |
So, coincidentally as we're on this topic... I was driving last night and my thigh area started getting kinda warm, but I didn't think anything of it. Then slowly it got warmer and then all of a sudden I smelled a bit of burning, and something HOT burned me from inside my pocket. So I was like WTF?! I reached into my pocket and pulled out a spare 18650, and it was so hot I could barely even touch it with my fingers. It wasn't in a mod or anything either, just a single 18650 battery I keep in my pocket as a spare in case my evic dies. I left the battery outside my front door and came back to it this morning, being curious as to why that happened. The battery still looks brand new. No cracks or leaks. I only got this about a couple weeks ago from ESV. The only other things in that same pocket with the battery was a standard Bic lighter and some change. I wonder if it was due to friction or some sort of freak accident chemical reaction with the lighter and change?  Needless to say, I just threw out the battery and won't be keeping spares in a pocket near my crotch area anymore. |
why would you keep a battery and a lighter in the same pocket? lol. sounds like a recipe for disaster. |
Because I'm a moron, apparently lol Regardless, I'm still quite curious of exactly how it happened. I mean I could tape a battery to a lighter and nothing would happen, and I was in sweatpants so I doubt the lighter accidentally fired... |
Could have been the coins and metal parts of the lighter all shorting the battery. It's unlikely to happen with only one battery in your pocket though. In order for this to happen the coins would have to create a circuit between the battery's top and bottom contacts. You also mentioned you were wearing sweatpants. If the cotton pants are static electrically charged (eg: drying sweatpants in your machine dryer without dryer sheets), that could also affect a loose battery in your pocket Battery safety: never carry batteries uncovered in your pocket, especially two loose batteries in the same pocket. Get one of those 18650 silicone battery wraps off DX/Fasttech/eBay or one of those plastic boxes that hold two 18650. These will cover the metal contacts so they can't be shorted. https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/...ne-sleeve-case |
Battery safety, always use a good brand charger (most people say nicore, but this was a few years ago). and learn your mod if you're using a mech. |
Used to have a 2-batt nicore, but my cat spilled water on it :okay: Now I'm using a 4-batt efest and it's been doing well so far. Recently I've been acquiring a taste for dessert flavors. I think the fruity ones are all starting to taste the same to me and I need a break off them lol. What are some of your guys favourite dessert ones? |
^Napalm by Coval Vapes: Apple pie a la mode. Sold at vaper stash in new west or vaporologie in downtown |
Put some tape on the battery ends if you don't have any cases or those single silicone battery sleeves. Original Glazed(donut) from vaporologie or vaper stash is good. |
I have some spare battery cases if anyone needs one. can fit 2 in each. free you just gotta pick up |
Anyone have any insight on the Sense Herakles? Wanting to change to a higher capacity tank, and a friend liked it, it's only 20 bucks on fasttech (I saw the stories about the wait times for delivery). Any better recommendations in the 5ml cap range or higher? |
I have a Sense Herakles and I fucking love it. I've gone through my shares of RDA, and most recently I was using a Goblin before this. Flavor and vapor is on par, if not better than the RDAs I've used. Never had a dry hit once, and I chain vape hard. Expect to run through juice like nothing tho. With regards to shipping, I recently received notice from FT that anything that is cylindrical shape can no longer be shipped via E-Packet, meaning you will wait 6-20 days for it. It is an authentic product, and I think it's worth if you've looking for a sub ohm tank. I run mine between 55-65W for all my juices. |
