Android Wear http://o.aolcdn.com/hss/storage/adam..._with+text.jpg Google?s Android Wear Is for Smartwatches and Wearable Devices - TIME Galaxy Gear was a flop and Pebble isn't open sourced i have feeling watches are making a comeback it only takes a few more seconds to whip out your phone and unlock...but if the price is right then the added convenience might be worth it. My 6th gen ipod nano with wrist band isn't an accurate fitness device so this is already looking attractive. |
Here's another shot of the Moto 360 http://giant.gfycat.com/LateJadedCuttlefish.gif Absolutely beautiful |
Looks nice... Price and release date? BTW, i love that voice activated reply... my nexus5 cant do this.. WTF |
interested, hopefully the price isnt too expensive.. |
galaxy gear 2 is $300 i hope this is $150...$200 tops |
i'm willing to pay 250-300 for the metal version if the battery life lasts at least 2 days. I'll still be charging it daily, but just want to eliminate any chance of the battery dying during the same day of charge |
id pay 300 for it with that design, but battery life is gonna be the main point for me too. 2 days would be real swell ! |
Battery life on my pebble is minimum 5 days, and that is pretty good. Any less than 2 days and it will be a real burden having to plug in every day. On the plus side, I am a huge fan of wearables, I switched from wearing all my other "nice" watches to wearing my pebble 90% of the time just because of the handiness factor. Being able to change songs from my watch, or to read messages without taking out my phone every time is GREAT. Not to mention all the other apps, like navigation directly to the screen of my pebble, or dialer apps that let me dial my straight out of my contacts list from my watch. I laugh at the people who think the galaxy gear is a good wearable. The galaxy gear is a hunk of shit compared to the pebble. The only reason it even remotely is known is because samsung made it and their sheeps are even worse than those of apple. Hope this 360 is as good as it looks. I will definetly be picking one up if it is sub $300 |
apparently the 360 will have Sapphire Glass and Wireless Charging. Looking more promising! |
finally a decent looking smart watch! |

Apparently the moto 360 might go for $250! If it's actually at that price point LG and Samsung don't stand a chance Moto 360 Shows Up at Best Buy for $249, Outs List of Features | Droid Life |
with android wear and android car the smartphone itself might become the secondary device as it gets less usage....i'm hoping car 2DIN will feature both Carplay and android auto or it'll become annoying when you're passengers/2ndary drivers have a different platform  |
Wow I didn't even know android auto was a thing! That was definitely cool to read up on. |
LMAO... Best Buy accidentally leaked pricing for the Moto360.. http://cdn2.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chor...13.32.26.0.jpg |
