fun cars for under $7000 list them off! my only requirements are that its manual, rear wheel drive and not a 4cylinder. dont want a miata because im a big guy and will not be happy being crammed into such a tiny car. edit: forgot to add that it cant be right hand drive. i'm just not down with it.. |

BMW E36 coupe can be had in that price range. All other suggestions I have are 4 bangers. |

Dang! Those are some nice photos! |
Skyline != left hand drive. |
Depends what your definition of fun is. Straight line fast? corner carver? looks cool? |
Porsche 944 + monies for maintenance |
I agree with all the above posts.. kinda redneck/ douchy but how bout a 5L fox body mustang? |

I've seen and heard of people getting 240's for cheap and making them look super sick for under 7000. |

All these cars in this thread are so deceptive though, they all have $7k in paint, wheels, and suspension - forget about the price of the actual car plus maintaining it (FC RX7, are you crazy?!?) |

What's wrong with a 4 cylinder? If it's lacking in power, there are plenty of factory turbo'd 4 cylinders. You're really killing your choices by excluding them... |
ok maybe i'll consider a turbo 4. but it cant be front wheel drive... |

E36 with a V8 swap, a touch more than 7k(Mine was just under 10k all in) Never have I owned a car that puts more smiles on my face, and they can be made to look pretty dang nice, pretty timeless design |
Hop on CL or Kijiji, search for cars that are <$6k (you want to leave room for maintenance, etc) and see what you find that interested you. Honestly if you just want something fun for cruises and DDing then which wheels are the drive wheels doesn't really matter. Do you want something that's mostly stock and turn key, or do you want something older that you can build for under $7k total? Are you okay with a car that can be maintenance intensive, or do you need at least average reliability due to your long term budget/housing & DIY situation? Do you want a car with widespread aftermarket support, or are you okay with doing some hunting? |
How about a great condition e30? For 7k you should be able to get a mature-owned clean example with a few quality mods. No xxr's or cherry bombs Posted via RS Mobile |
