RE: the smashing thing.

you have to be approved first. i suspect you have to use a higher end phone IE iPhone or S3/S4 etc. makes a better video. no one cares if you unsuccessfully try to smash an old Nokia.

Star Tacs and Motorola 8000 classics likely need not apply.

fill out a form, wait for acceptance letter, film yourself destroying an old friend. post to redtube.

then film yourself smashing the old phone

why are the hard keys' back and multi-task button reversed from the soft keys?
also dont understand the point of a reboot test...how often does one reboot their phone? Once a week at best?

I only reboot when I flash new roms.. lol

I was thinking to smash a dummy, but reading the T&C, it is almost impossible, unless you are super good video editor.

If they can refuse the 5000th / 10000th post winner earlier, I am sure those Chinese will do the same again this time.

If you get selected to smash your phone, you have to record an unedited video showing the phone is in working condition otherwise it won't count.

I'm pretty sure they would have thought of these simple and minor things... When u register ur phone, I sure they would have u show then the system settings menu to prove that its the actual phone u registered with...

Anyone else hate the design of the back?

This is similar to the HTC One, the convex design. When placed on a flat surface while using the phone, I find that it rocks a little when you're tapping at the edge of the phone. It's kinda annoying.
