how long does it take from order to shipped?
and from shipped how long does it take until it arrives in your hand?

I just ordered one today. not sure if it is the right decision or impulses

FerrariEnzo 07-15-2014 01:09 PM

Anyone else have an invite, please PM me..

Thanks

bakasam 07-15-2014 02:16 PM

Ended up giving my invite to a relative who was in desperate need of a phone upgrade.

When he ordered they sent an email saying were sorry shipping is delayed due to some unforeseen circumstances but the phone will be shipped out by X date. When we actually got the shipping notification it only took 1 day.

Got an invite today, and placed an order. Total came to $360USD (Shipping to PR), about $400CAD.

Be ready to pay about $60 for brokerage/customs fees. To avoid DHL from holding your package, you can pay the fees in advance on their website.

Might not even declare it as I have other items to declare. No brokerage fees, only tax and duty if they make me pay.

Yes 64GB in Sandstone Black. I have at least 2 invites on reserve. If I get anymore, I'll post them here.

30,000 would be about a month from now. I am 17000.

Why would DHL hold my package? I am shipping and receiving within the continental USA. There shouldn't be any brokerage fees at all.

Those are the Chinese Models. You'll have to flash the non-chinese CM11 rom onto it to get all the google apps. You'll also lose the LTE bands.

willystyle 07-16-2014 01:26 PM

Just read from the OnePlus forum that those that already invited will receive new invites this coming Monday.

freakshow 07-16-2014 09:20 PM

i would love an invite if anyone would be so kind..

asian_XL 07-16-2014 09:42 PM

Xiaomi 4 is supposed to be 5.5" QHD, Snapdragon 805 and cheaper. I would rather buy this.

inv4zn 07-16-2014 11:41 PM

Does anyone on RS have an actual phone physically in their hands?

Didn't know you shipped it to the states. For anyone shipping to Canada they will have to pay the fees.

I have had the phone for about a week and a half now and I love it. The sandstone back feels so nice and different.

How's the WiFi and Cellular reception compared to your previous phone? What phone did you have? Which network are you on?

AznDrift 07-17-2014 11:59 AM

I was using a note 2 before. Wifi seems to be the same. I am currently on rogers network and the reception with the phone is ok, it switches from 4g/lte to hspa+/3g quite a bit, and the signal strength doesn't seems to be as good as the note 2 was. It could just be a software issue with CM, because I also had the same problem when i had CM on my note 2. Switching back to touchwiz on my note fixed the reception problems i was having. Also the mic on the phone isn't the best. When on the phone sometimes the other person cant hear me. This problem is also present in the nexus 5, so I'm hoping it's just a software issue.

And as for the yellow tint issue. My phone does have the yellow tint on the bottom of the screen and especially in the bottom corners, but this is only noticeable when the screen is white.

The build quality of the phone is really good, it feels like a premium quality phone.

this is an Asian phone and won't have the LTE bands though, right?

How's the LTE speed? I know for the find 7a they are using older version of LTE so it is not very fast at all........ Also how's the aps running? I know with the Find 7a Yelp, Aplast8 and a few other apps won't run at all.

Heres a screen shot of the lte speeds, currently in new west

And for apps, i haven't ran into any problems with apps yet.
