I think the seller may have been flooded with interest, at that price I bet he was. We may see the ad disappear and reappear with a higher price.

It clearly has an obscured BC plate and doesn't bear the most obvious signs of the fake ad (lacking front license plate, palm trees in the pic, background building architecture not typical of Vancouver)

I think this is a pretty good deal for a gen 1 CTS-V, and it has the correct number of pedals. The gen 1 CTS-V rear end needs to be upgraded if one is going to drive it hard, the fact that 2 and 3 have been replaced suggests this car may have been driven hard and due for a diff replacement?

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...267633443.html

2004 CTS V - $13,500

Posting up my baby to see what interest there is in it. Have had it for over 2 years now and loved all of it but am looking for something new.
Not desperate to sell will only sell if i get a good price so no lowballers or tire kickers test drive will ONLY be given to serious buyers.

The 2004 Cts-V came with a 5.7L v8 engine which was the same as the z06 for the year and came paired with a t56 transmission on my particular t56 gears 2 and 3 have been re built and most of the major must have modifications have been done tastefully with a short throw shifter that replaces the notoriously sloppy stock one and full dual cat back corsa exhaust set up along with power stop z26 street warrior rotors with carbon Fibre pads.

So onto the fun stuff, this CTS has a few upgrades you wont see on all of them such as;
●Full Corsa Dual Exhaust system($3000 new)
● K&N Cold Air intake ($500 new)
● Performance Clutch and Flywheel ( installed 12 months ago/ 30,000km ago)
● B&M Short Throw Shifter
●Aftermarket lighter rims and tires (along with a set and 3 extra stock tires and rims)
●Power stop Z26 Street Warrior rotors and carbon Fibre pads (10k ago)
• New spark plugs and wires (15k ago)
Comes with 3 sets of rims 2 sets have rubber
New engine mounts and power steering lines just put in a week ago

The very little bad but want full disclosure there is small scrape above rear passenger wheel well a few inches across that Is barely noticeable but if it is a deal breaker I can get it fixed picture of damage will be in images

This vehicle is loaded with suede inserts on the seats, navigation, heated seats, auto and memory seats/mirrors,DVD compatible, sunroof and much more.

Have properly maintaind this vehicle and only put the best parts in. Most recent work was New Water Pump and New power steering pump and lines and also just did engine mounts 1 week aho. Perfect summer cruiser pushing over 400hp amd 400 torque.

If interested please contact me thru call/text show contact info

Posting this as a feeler will sell for fair price I have spent good money on only the best parts so low ballers will be ignored and made fun of. I have full history of the car friends with original owner who imported it into Canada has been babied its whole life

$23k 2010 S5 V8, 94,000km, 6MT, seems like an alright deal, probably checks the boxes of someone who's looking for one of these!

I went to look at the car when it was 19.5
A few accidents, and one recent one that was not well repaired.
A body shop is selling it, they said the owner is a 80yr old man who after his last accident 4 months ago gave up driving. They are the shop that repaired the car, accident is around 12-13k.

Drivetrain is healthy, but that's all I have to say.

Those T56 trannies are tough as nails. What on earth was he doing to it to need 2nd and 3rd rebuild at such low mileage? Especially since it's not exactly putting out double power from factory and should be relatively safe at that power level.

I spoke with the owner and he said he was granny shifting not double clutching like he should. That price is pretty typical from what I have seen for that gen ctsv over the last couple years.

Checked this out, price is pretty low compared to other ST on the market, car drives nice and owner seems nice however it spent up until 2 years ago in Quebec and you can definitely tell (all the bolts in the engine bay have rust on them and the exhaust / weld seams in the rear are rusting too)... so take that into account if you’re thinking to look at it.

^^ I've driven one, the interior feels cheap compared to my e39 wagon, just lots more to break. The one I drove was a 535 too but it didn't feel fast at all.

I think those early year ES300’s are quite troublesome... engine and transmission wise... you want the 99-01 years instead
