EDIT: IT WAS A $2995 OPTION. found a quote from when I was looking at them.

Now THAT IS HOW YOU DO IT!!!

That’s what I hated most about the RS. Black, white, blue, grey. That was it... then in 2018 they optioned, wait for it... RED!! Abs only made 500 units or something.

Weirdest thing about the Golf R colour thing is that it was Canada only, you couldn't get it in the USA.

Dealers in the USA were scoffing cars from Ontario dealers to sell at huge price increases.

Just got one quote for wrapping whole car @ $2700 ... haven't really even shopped around or got quotes from other shops. What is going rate for wrap of whole car?

You must be implying it's $4K?

Modified? I think I saw that on Bridgeport! Couldn't take my eyes off of it!

2017 Golf R

Proper manual, 1/3rd the kms of the blue one above, better colour IMO, $5k-$6k more? This is the deal I'd go for.

For a $2700 wrap job, expectations would be
No door jambs, trunk jams, fender jambs
No removal of any trims or headlights, taillights
Single stage colour, so no pearls or metallic
Work done by a non certified person

Be one of the first ... $62,850

Pretty easy to get an aftermarket fix for that. Just needs to disrupt the airflow a bit and it's done.

trollface 04-01-2021 06:39 PM

Isnt the 2020 the one that has like 40 less hp than the newer one?

It's key words for search, if one of the words in that list is a word you were searching for that posting will come up, even if it's not what you're looking for. Yeah it's annoying.

When I see those keyword spam, I flag them. Yeah I'm an asshole but they are ruining the tool.

i might flag in the private seller section - this is the dealer section, they have to do what they have to do.

this is a Matt Burnett car - all the other dealers are basically copying his internet sales tactics anyways.

is it down 40hp? the roadmap for these cars is so weird.

launch edition, year later follow up w a more powerful motor (and also a cheaper lower power version), year after they finally drop a manual car (allegedly).

I think Farrah hypothesized that toyota was trying to get that supra crazy buyer to essentially trade up to the newest model each year.

I still don't really get this car.

This video is a good watch. TL;DW: M2 CS is the real supra successor

Buying wind deflectors should reduce the noise

man - they are pricy. a cool 100k CAD for a M2 CS. It's dope as hell, but i just can't fathom it.

(i think there was a 2 pedal car on the island for 97k last week)

Special K 04-01-2021 10:30 PM

I know the Supra engine is BMW’s. But why the interior are so similar too? The shifter, climate control, screen, etc.

The problem is buying a new car, and then having to buy some other shit, to get rid of helicopter humm

Its the equivalent of buying the F150s with steering death wobble from factory

Car makers be like "its normal, plz dont mass sue"

Yeah for the price of M2 CS, I'd rather buy a Cayman GT4. Not that I have money for either but it sucks cause the GT4 is the better car but I really like the M2 CS LOL

I believe 3 pedal much more expensive as per usual with enthusiast cars.

F80/F82 2 pedal can be had for around 45-55K. 3 pedal, F80 you're looking at 70-80k rn. I believe it's due to the G80 being so ugly.
