owners that buy michelins are good owners
north shore cars are good buys
throttle actuators are done and it sounds like the owner has done what else has been required at a dealership that doesn't cut corners.
it is a bit cheap - maybe it is time to look at RB's and he knows it. It's still a good deal if you bought it and drove it straight to a shop to have it done.
i'd undo the exhaust mod and try to trade for some stock lighting - the rest looks great
certified good buy

^ E92 M3 was the most reliable BMW i've had out of the 7... owned it for close to 8 years and nothing went wrong.
It's apples to orange to E60 M5 in terms of reliability, but almost all of it is up to how it was driven/used/maintained as far as E92 M3 goes.
E60 M5 on the other hand just blows up regardless.

e9x m3s are expensive, it can be a big deal if you buy the wrong car, or can be fine if you stay on top of things. If you get a car thats $3500 in maintenance very year and that hasn't been done for 7 years you can see how it becomes a big problem. | I thought the V8 in the E92 was related to the V10 in the E60, almost like chopping 2 cylinders off the V10.

High mileage on the body but it's a truck anyway.
The ad is well written. I'm hoping it's priced like this because of gas prices. Say what you will about the 5.4

Is there a reason the W204 C Class seems so cheap? This is a really cheap one but there's a bunch of them for sale with <150k km for <$15k. Are they horrifically unreliable or expensive to maintain or something? https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...475457792.html

204 C class are great cars. A bit more on fuel than say the newest stuff, but last of the non fully digital crap like the 205. Feels well built too.
the 203.... now that was a flaming pile of crap.
Get rid of the buddy guy wheels and put some C350 AMG sport pack wheels, and you have yourself a very nice car to putt around town in. Solid build.

The 5.4 either has a steel or Aluminum block, can’t remember which but whichever it is, you can’t heli coil the cylinder anymore so basically need a replacement. It’s a big fucking headache if you don’t have a mechanic that can do it lol

They make a kit specifically for the triton 5.4s. It should be fine as long as they changed the spark plugs at least once. OEM spark plug torque from factory was too low usually hence them popping out.

Dont the new edge mustang GT suffer from the same issue? My buddy blew two plugs out just cruising on the HWY. Bought a kit just like you are saying.

All ford modulars had the issue iirc. It was just from poor factory torque specs and an aluminum head with tapered plug holes which exaggerated the low torque even more with thermal expansion. The subsequent 3 valves had 2 piece spark plugs and the top bit would usually break off if you did them late

Things in regular person price range are definitely not moving as fast and should see some price drops. I think the big money collector cars will continue to climb, because those are the people getting richer off of us common scum being poorer, but from friends selling some pretty cool cars that would have moved in hours a few months ago are stuck holding or getting hilarious trade offers.

I think it still depends on the car, if it's low volume top model cars like M and AMG still moves pretty quickly as long as it's not stupidly over priced. Things like regular spec 335, 350z, Abarth maybe sit for longer? But I think anything under $10k should move pretty quickly. Miatas etc.

It was just from poor factory torque specs and an aluminum head with tapered plug holes which exaggerated the low torque even more with thermal expansion. The subsequent 3 valves had 2 piece spark plugs and the top bit would usually break off if you did them late | Yea, I blew 3 out of my 4.6L right passed the coil packs
Always the same story with the thermal expansion, you’d be driving at a consistent speed on the hwy etc. and then once you got off that constant speed and had to accelerate from a stop etc. BOOM!
The third time it happened I just drove back home for like 10 minutes, couldn’t be bothered lol

Given who the seller is, I’d say it’s at a premium but with the luxury of knowing it was taken care of / sorted.
