I went and just looked at the 911 up close today. The exterior is BEAUTIFUL. The interior really is awful. It's on some pretty awful tires as well. I'd still like to check it out driving wise, but I'm sure I'd have to be 30k into it including purchase price to be where I want it to be. Like seats and tires and such to be super happy with it.

I doubt I'd sell it locally being that the dollar is such shit, I could just list it on BF.com for 12k and it would be gone pretty quickly, and I'd end up with 15k in my pocket. I don't think it would get anything near that locally. Probably 12k CND as well. Its a specific car, and definitely needs a specific buyer. Not everyone wants a 16 year old purple m3 with a suede interior.

			techno violet E36 M3 - 10k+ all day long.
replace the interior with black interior from a parts car. delete rear seats. add roll bar. add Euro GT3 seats.
Voila.
Or if it was up to me, id just get the three spoke wheel in black w/ suede, replace the god awful stock seats w/ GT3 style seats and still add a roll bar in the back.

dont do it westopher. a 996 turbo would be worth it, but a 911 c2? meh. this thing will be worth what your car is worth now in US dollars in a few more years. nobody really cares for these things. they're a great buy if you have extra cash and want a porsche to fuck around with..

Hows this a good deal? That seems like $5k higher than what other 2003 Z33's are selling for.

Honestly a good condition 996 c2 hasn't been depreciated much for a while. The only downside on that 996 is being the first year production.
IMHO 996 drives and feels better than E36 M3, E46 M3, but first mod you do is to get a 997 shifter or short shifter.

Also 03 350z are least desirable unless they had the oil consumption recall done which this one probably hasn't had.
