I heard the 2.0t isn't that bad nothing crazy that BMW Benz VW Audi won't have. And if you can get one with warranty, I just hear it drives better than BMW or any other European competitor sedans. Obviously Japan is no competition, you can say you drive an Alfa rather than 328i.

I raise you is + SC

I still say X3 M40i, they are actually decently reliable now, the i6 is fairly bulletproof.

If you are going to take the car in a few years, what's stopping you from getting a IS500? Then you can all the V8

seems like a waste of money. it'll just take away from the ratrolla experience.

I was honestly trying to find a stripper base GR86 for a daily but everyone keeps telling me its 6 month to 1 year away. Such b.s.

Thanks, I saw those. Not sure why I would pay basically the same price as new for a car that isn’t new. I rather just wait it out I guess.

I just want it with the dark blue with base model.

For some reason I thought they cost more, looks like 35k MSRP. Eff those guys then.

Unlike the Circuit Edition for the GR Corolla, which is just over $10,000 more than the Core... I think the $3k for what you get on the premium GR86 is a great value.

looks like the premium GR86 has half leather/alcantara seats and 1 inch bigger wheels/tires combo. I guess thats okay for 3k though im not sure if i need it cuz ill be ricing it out anyways.

Supply to Canada is basically 0 since since the Premium also sells for like 33k US. Toyota are losing 9k per 86 they sell in Canada vs. in the States, hence the year + long waitlist

Do you even fit in the gr, it's so tiny, and claustrophobic.
< Miata get a slightly used RF. I still think that hard top targa design is pretty cool and is better insulated for year round.

Complains about GR86 being tiny and claustrophobic.

Suggests a Miata RF.

Complains about BMW reliability.

Recommends Alfa Romeo.

If you don't mind the BRZ looks, I think the Subaru dealers are more willing to play ball with getting one of these at MSRP.

I had a good experience with PoCo Subaru last year and was told they're selling BRZs at MSRP with no strings attached + deposits are placed in a FIFO queue.

Also saw someone post a BRZ lease transfer listing a few weeks ago, though I'm guessing it's gone by now.

I barely fit in the Miata ND. like BARELY. the RF is wayyy too tight for headroom at 6'2 so that one is out. The cloth top is okay, but im pretty sure if i was ever in an accident, id be dead
